I am currently using a Halo Triton with Triton tanks. It vapes well and I have no probs with it, but I have heard that the top coil do not give nearly as much flavor as other coils. I am thinking about upgrading to new gear, but am still semi-new to vaping, so I do not know exactly what I should get since there is so much out there. My first thought was to go for an ego battery and a PT3 or Aspire. But I am curious about a few other options. What is a "clone?" or a "dripper?" What other devices might be out there that would be recommended?

Also, What batteries, if I go for an ego battery, would be recommended? On tanks, I have done enough research, so I am good there, but in terms of batteries, I have done little to no research. VV would be nice, but not mandatory, just something over 1000 Mah.

I have been using 1300 Vision Spinner Batteries for about 2 years and really like them. they now have them up to 1600 but I've not gotten one of those yet. If you would like to move up to more long lasting power and don't mind the box mod shape you may want to check out the itaste MVP. I held out for a while but now have 2 of them. They have an internal 2600 map battery (meaning non-replaceable). I also just today ordered an istick. To me it appears to be a smaller version of an MVP. HTH

ps: the spinners are VV. The istick and mvp are both vv/vw

+1 on the MVP v2

1. Huge (2600 mah) battery
2. Variable Voltage - Voltage can be adjusted from 3.3 ~ 5.0 in 0.1 volt increments
3. Variable Wattage - Wattage can be adjusted from 6.0 ~ 11.0 in 0.5 watt increments
4. Ohms Meter - Reads the resistance of your atomizer
5. Pass through ability
6. $40 shipped at many online stores

The iStick may be a possibility BUT it is not capable of down regulating power (it is widely inaccurate, especially at lower voltages). As long as you're aware of it and don't need a battery that can output voltages between 3v and 4.2 volts, you may like it. It does go up to 20 watts.

I would go with an mvp as an upgrade to what you have now. vv/vw gives you a wide variety of options depending on what tank you are using. As to your other questions a "clone" is a copy of something already made by a different company. They are usually made from cheaper materials in a country with no labor laws (i.e. China). For example say you find an authentic atomizer for $100, chances are you can find a clone online of the same looking atomizer for about $20. Basically they are chinese knockoffs but a lot of them work great imho. I know there is a lot of debate amongst clones but I personally cant justify paying $100+ for one atty when I can get a very similar one for a fraction of the price.

On to "drippers". These are also referred to as RDA's, or rebuildable dripping atomizers. These are usually for more advanced users cause you have to know how to build your own coils, know ohms law, and have the right hardware to run them. They are for those vapers who "blow clouds". I personally own a few and love them but it took me a while to move up to them. Its more of a hobby at this point. I wouldn't suggest an rda if your still fairly new to the game. If your completely happy with tanks I would stick with those. It's all about personal preference and what works for you.

I would also suggest getting some bottom feeding coils cause they wick a lot more efficiently. Kanger t3, evod or aspire tanks are all good choices. Sorry for the long post I had a lot of info to share! Good luck to you.
