It has to be something with how your build interacts. I've never seen mine hold and climb. I can get big initial flashes then it either drops to 20's and lower or 20's with other big flashes (I assume low liquid is determining when it sits in the single digits vs high flashes).

Have you also tried with other tanks?

It's done pretty good for me in temperature control with Themis mesh .18Ω, Subtank mini .48Ω single coil and Scion II .32Ω dual coil.
The Scion seemed slow the first time I put it on for a few puffs but the last time I had it on the Legend it was fine.

@bwh79 is who you need to ask.

Still loving my legend... And its original firmware. I'm afraid I always (once I have learned a menu's functions and foibles, the idea of doing it all OVER again makes me shiver. LOL maybe one day.

Although, my "intuitive" knowledge of menu systems and how to operate them is growing, and I can only credit vaping. Heh. I got a bit too much "casual shaming" from the husband and the kid, and just started playing with settings until I started to get the hang of things. LOL, they were really amused by my suffering.

Still, maybe one day. :D

New firmware released: Firmware Download

I was worried since TC has been working with the mesh I have on the legends. I didn't want to mess up a good thing. But battery life. So I updated both.
I don't know if wattage in TC is acting like a hard limit/goal but the aggressiveness does seem to adjust better than it did, and it doesn't want to overheat the mesh with the first boost of power (which has been a problem on some mods I've tried them on). Both my Legends/Themises are working so I don't want to swap tanks around to test higher mass builds, someone else will have to report on that.

Fresh charged batteries in both. Hopefully this takes a while to get a new puff count per charge (partly because I have 4 mods all working with modern tanks so I'm freely switching between them).

LOL I was vaping the legend and I will say the display is SMALL. I was like, "Egh what's with the now flavor, but like, I kept trying different juices and stuff, and no joy. Then after (it had to be a couple days, honestly, I'm an ijjit) well, I was like, wait there is no vapor EITHER.

LOL it doesn't notify you (except via the empty battery bars) that anything is going on. I finally figured it out, only apparently my ares and juice (even wide open) can barely tolerate 8.8 watts (lowest setting). That's probably MY issue, like wicking or something but I am not prepared to attempt a wick at this TIME as I just fixed my poor Kabuki the butterfly glass tank I had just smashed (for no REASON even I didn't drop it.) So, thankfully I had some sort of NON glass tank that fit covered in metal cage. I got all the glass out (I thought) but it was a bit crunchy when I screwed it down. I don't think you can vaporize glass, either so like, I just was like, "Farewell, little bottom O ring.

I'll deal with it when the juice level goes down. Oh, I know, I know. I KNOW.

LOL I might try a firmware update if it includes a flashing red light that says, "Anna, your battery level is LOW."

LOL, I also feel like my license to vape might need to be REVOKED.

It sucks.

The whole screen blanks out and says your battery is dead. If you change the color to red I bet it would be in red:lol:

I don't think it did, to be honest. I would love it if it did that.

Okay, more DARN things to figure OUT. I give up, truly, I'm like scared to change a battery in oe of my provaris. And that is LIKE THE SAFEST VAPE task EVER.

Oh well. I think the horse tranquilizers are catching UP. This is both good and bad. Good (I'm not anxious) BAD (I'm not capable.)

The pdoc did note that I could not take them FOREVER. I was all, "But what if I have to?"

I now understand his POINT. They're a bit cumulative for my tastes. LOL.

Just downloaded v1.2 and I cant wait to see if it really fixes the temp issue, (fingers and toes crossed). Batteries lasted me all day already, but longer battery life is always better. I have had this mod for about 2 weeks now and updated to v1.1 before I even used it. I took my legend on a week long vacation to the lake, (the fam came too, lol). Needed something I could beat up and not worry about, (the legend, not the fam). It got knocked off the table, hit the metal foot awkwardly and landed half buried in the sand. Picked it up, brushed it off and not a mark to be seen, vapes like a champ! I put about 20ml's through it a day, (the Themis is a juice guzzler) and charged it at night and never once was let down, (in wattage mode). It was carried around in my wet swim trunks, though I always remembered to take it out before swimming. Its still gotta make it through a couple more camping trips this summer though, but I have no concerns. Thanks @Geekvape_Official for such a great mod!

The screen color could be change, and it will be no problem to turn it red. Have you encountered the issue that the screen blanks out?

Only when it is supposed to, when the battery low warning takes over.

I was telling @stols001 if she made her screen red the warning would be red.

Okay I could give that a shot. My theory is I probably discharged it so low the warning went away, but honestly, I should have just noticed. But, I'll give it a try. Etc. I'm really enjoying the vape now that it has you know, batteries and I fixed the wicking on my Ares. Not quite sure about what's in there ATM (probably 3 different things but it's not BAD either so I'll wait for my juice to go low, and go from there.

I think this sucker is a bit overpowered (much like my steampunk which I also love) but it seems to be consistent. I think I'm at an all powerful 9 watts. Although I don't mind a mod that converts battery power efficiently, not one bit.

Fixed ALL my tanks, LOL, so now I am feeling vape capable. LOL.

I think it's a matter of the screen isn't facing you and even if it was it's 2" away from your eyes. I don't know if a different color would help. But then again red probably isn't as bright to me as it is to you. I find the 2nd color option to be brighter.

Since you love menu functions so much, click 3 times, hold +/- to change colors.

The software update improves the battery life considerably! 2 days since last charge and im still at a 1/4 batt life. I did notice a better experience with temp too and I even saw it hit 50watts @ 420f. I cant get temp dialed in like my DNA's, but thats not really apples to apples. Apple or not, I'm lovin it.
