GeekVape Aegis Solo 3

Hey guys, Ive got the geekvape solo 3, and the wrap on it is starting to fail and fall apart. Does anyone know if this thing is replaceable? I see 4 torx screws that appear to hold the wrap on, but not sure if they are just for decoration or not?

I'm not sure if they sell wraps, but they used to sell frames that hold the wraps in place.
Worst case scenario, you have to make wraps and buy a new frame.

The faux leather on my old original Solo's is starting to have those problems. It took years though so maybe the quality has gone down. Z80's have the same faux leather section and it has started to peel a lot quicker than my Solo's did. The shiny surface layer peels off but the stuff underneath seems quite resilient. And the painted part on the Solo's lost paint quite fast.

Like Tor said you could buy the frame pieces. Don't remember if they sold the leather inserts. It never bothered me enough to want to replace them. I know some people made their own inserts.

I've seen ppl customising the leather wrap too. See if you can get fabric remnants somewhere.

It wouldnt bother me if it wasnt for the fact that the solo 3 is touch based for its button lock, which I really like and was informed by geek vape that if it fails completely it could effect the touch feature. Thanks for the info guys, appreciate it! So Im guessing then the 4 torx screws are real and not just decoration?

Most likely they are real, you can try to loosen one carefully.
On. the model before there were screws and a removable plastic frame, Geekvape rarely tends to come up with something new model to model.

I just picked one of these up last week. Not bad for an 18650 mod.
Silly simple to setup, not to bad of a TC vape experience and a USBC port that charges in a jiffy!
