Geekvape ammit rta 22mm need help

Hello everyone,

I'm new in vaping. Recently i bought geekvape ammit rta 22m and eleaf istick pico 75w. So i have few questions:
1. Does this rta should do like you see in video? ( If no, i want to hear what's wrong in my build)
2. How many watts i have to set for perfect vaping, because mod shows me 0.51ohm? Or it depends individualy?

Also when i vape i feel strange taste of liquid. Do I need to wash the tank before use or it's because my cotton is bad?

Hi, based on the video, i see too much cotton and a big coil, i also have the ammit 22. Try a smaller coil build, a 24 or a 22 ga round ss or kanthal. If u want more fancy coils, i.e. clapton or alien, just use a smaller gauge than what u are using. I use a 28ga*32ga fused clapton on mine and it works flawlessly. Use a little less cotton also. I build mine on a 3mm ID and coming at .59 ohms and running it between 38-50 watts. Hope that helps...

So i get one more question about tighting coil, so i saw that i tight fully screws my ohms goes to 0.37 if leave not so tight i see in mod 0.51. So how that coil should be tightened?

One more question about resistance growing up. I see that my pico shows that battery goes empty resistance from 0.51 rises to 0.61. Is it good or no?

I tried your experiment on my own mod to see if resistance would change (very tight, somewhat tight, almost to the point of unscrewed) and the resistance shown on my mod did not change. You may have a bad connection/thread between your tank and your mod, and/or you are having some type of electrical issue with your mod/battery.

If I was getting that kind of fluctuation, I wouldn't vape it, I would take it to my friendly electronics guy at the vape shop I frequent for advice. Also, you may want to contact the manufacturer to see if you can get an answer on that one, as I just don't know.

Someone may be along with more experience to help before I even finish posting this, though. It may be a glitch of that equipment or something, but widely fluctuating resistances usually mean SOMETHING is going on.... .Not coil to coil variances, that happens, but usually around 0.05-- 0.3 or something...

Tighten your coils to the point that it is well seated when you try to move the coil. Dont tighten too much as it may strip the threads of your screws.

I have a single coil ammit. I wrapped a 4 loop 3.5mm 26ga kanthal coil on it for around .3ohm and got AMAZING vapor and flavor from it. I don't download blind links though so I don't know exactly what your issue is.

It is a bit tricky to wick despite their claims. You need to have a lot of cotton ( hence the 3.5mm coil) and the tips of the fiber need to be just touching the bottom so you need a very short wick
