I have that Mankos clone... It's terrible. The locking ring is one of the worst I have seen.

It is at a local B&M on consignment. Couldn't get rid of it quick enough. Pretty to look at though.

Edit: the one I bought is this one....

Weird that they push out this tank (without a well extended posi contact) and faux hybrid top capped mech combo, knowing all that we now know about these types of mechs, and call it Karmao_O Come on Geekvape.

Good post @MMW , the mech does looks very appealing. I am not a big fan of the new Genny styled tanks but it doesn't look bad at all. I do like the fact that it can break down into an RDA.

then they have this on the site:
GeekVAPE Warning.PNG

But the OG pics don't show an adjustable posi pin. Maybe that is just a promotional pic... And how the hell are they going to say "Sub Ohm tank is not recommended" and then include a tank that's most likely be used sub ohm? I assume because most tanks don't have an extended posi pin...

"Sub ohm tank" generally refers to the "new" breed of clearomizers with replaceable coil heads, starting with the Kanger Subtank if I'm not mistaken. Partly because they tend to have fairly bad positive pins, and partly because you can't really trust the prebuilt coil heads.

The tank converts to an RDA.

I love the fact that new mech mods are hitting the market. I'm also kinda excited about the really reasonable pricing.

It also looks to be pretty safe with decent venting and additional lining/insulation...

Ah yes, gotcha. That makes complete sense.

Just a heads up that FT approved a price match I submitted for $28.99 for the full kit.

God knows when it will be adjusted, but I am checking MAP pricing every couple of days to see if it shows up there. $49 is high, but $29 is a steal for a Geek Vape atty AND mech mod....
