Hello,

The Wenax Stylus it is from Geek vape, a new pod with a very sleek look. This is the way I expect a pod to look like, simple, light and portable. It looks a bit like a tiny Mech mod with its bottom fire-button. It is quite refreshing to see something that does not belong to the Aegis line!

Thank you @Geekvape_Official for sending me this kit for the purpose of this review.

Specifications:

In the box:

1* Geekvape Wenax Stylus(G Coil Formula 0.6ohm mesh coil( best at 15-25W), pre-installed)
1* G Coil Pod Formula 1.2ohm
1* Delrin Drip tip
1* Coil tool
1* USB cable
1* User manual

What I am missing in the packaging is an additional pod, they are so inexpensive that I always expect there to be two. It would reduce the hassle the user needs to go through to order additional pods, for me they can even put the kit price up with 50 cents or a dollar to just have two pods from the start.

Review:

Really love the design of this cylindrical pod, it feels like holding an 18650 battery but its much lighter than that. Not sure what material the housing is made from, but I am quite sure it is Zinc Alloy. The way it is painted gives it a grip, the layer of paint feels a bit rubberish. Due to its small size and little weight (44g) it is very portable.

Pods are a bit dark which makes it look nice, but makes it harder to see the liquid level, but its still visible. It is a click connection rather than a magnetic connection, which works very well, the pod feels strongly installed. Filling up the pod is easy and the fact you can twist away the rubber plug makes it an easy fill, just make sure to tilt the pod a bit. 2ml is enough, especially using the 1.2-ohm MTL coil. Big pro is that you can use your own 510 drip-tips, but I like the ones that came with it as well, especially the taller profile one is great for MTL.

Coils are plugged in from the bottom of the pod and seal very well. Did not experience any leaking or even condensation. You will need the coil tool to remove the coil though, they are very strongly plugged in.

There is not much functionality to it apart from turning on/off, switching between the wattage levels and vaping. Fact that there is button activation and draw activation is great, in fact I only use it as draw-activation as I find the bottom button a bit uncomfortable to use as fire-button, it is just a bit too small. The LED-light on the bottom is very sharp and large, while vaping however you need to hold your hand next to it to see the battery level. Having the wattage levels is very useful, for the coils available you will find your preferred level, but I use these coils on the highest level.

1100mAh battery is more than enough for this pod, especially when using the MTL 1.2ohm coil. It easily gets me through more than a full day. It charges just within an hour, which is also quite fast.

For me there is not enough airflow to use it for an RDL hit. The MTL-draw is good, it is close to my preferred restricted type of draw. Both coils perform well. I can say that the 1.2ohm MTL coil is a winner. About 1,5 month ago I received the same device but was not released due to some required changes. I used the 1.2ohm coil for about a month and it was still going strong, maybe I just had a good coil or that is the way they perform. Flavor wise it is maybe not the best you can get (its still good), but for nicotine cravings it’s just great.

Conclusion:

Overall, I really like this pod. Its design and battery-capacity makes it a great ‘on-the-road’ pod. The 1.2ohm coil is my favorite on this one as the other one simply does not have enough airflow. This is the type of device I would suggest to smokers looking for something to switch to vaping. Its ease of use, design and performance would very much fit smokers.

For the price of 25$ you can get this kit from the official Geek Vape store, a good price compared to other similar pod devices from competitors. For 12$ you can get a 5-pack of coils, and if they would perform like mine that would be enough for 4-5 months, good price. In case you want to get more cartridges/pods they are also cheap, 3 pieces for 4$.

In general, I highly recommend Geek Vape products, never had a kit for review that disappointed really.

Thank you for your attention, have a good day!
