you should defiantly check it some out.. I would consider myself pretty good at rebuilding, but there is always that coil you build that you can never seem to tinker enough to get it perfect. i did a dual coil build at 6 wraps each around a 1/8 drill bit with this stuff, and both coils came out SO perfect and i barely had to tinker with them after the install. best vape i have had in a while, and no headache during the process. I even thought about going to 22 but thats like coat hanger witdth lol

That sounds awesome. Another plus side I think thicker wire has is an advantage when doing dual coils or quad whatever. If your skills are good enough you can wrap coils identical to each other alot easier with it. Making the heat up times almost perfectly simultaneous. So you don't get one dry side faster ect. ..but I may have over thought it lol or I ramble. I just think I noticed a difference.

I like to dual coil for the amount of production I am looking for but I got my hands on 500 feet of 23ga and single coil is all I need...

I've always stayed away from anything lower than 28ga. due to the longer heat-up times. Running this, does it take a lot longer than 28ga to heat up?

What about gunking? have you noticed more deposits on the coil than usual. Finally, battery life, any significant differences?

I guess I need to start experimenting a little more with my gauges and builds.

I'm curious too about another thing. I hear everyone talking about 8, 10, 12 wraps, etc. I've been doing my own coils for about 6 months now. Right now, using 30G. But I only wrap about four turns. I wrap around an awl, don't know it's diameter, but I ALWAYS come in at either 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4 ohms. With only four winds. Now, I only do my own coils on drippers. Is that maybe a factor? Although I can't see how.

There is definitely more lag time with lower gauge wire. How much lag depends on how you build your coils. The vape is definitely hotter as well.

I don't notice any more gunk than other coils. With the lower ohm setup your batteries will drain a bit faster.

This is the difference in the resistance of the wire. it will take alot more wraps with 26g than 28g to make the same ohm coil.
