I am new but will offer a suggestion. Mix a decent size batch of 50/50 pg/vg @ what mg level you want.
You can then try a small amount of your mix (like 20 drops) with 1 drop of flavor. If it still is harsh try adding more drops of the base mix. If it is still harsh, try the base mix with no flavoring to isolate the harshness.

Find and read the vinegar thread, the vinegar helps some type of flavors, lemon/lime/malic help other types.

I use a base when testing flavors, it helps save time & material and makes it easy to get close on flavor%.

My first suggestion would be "give it some time". If after a couple of days it is still too harsh try making adjustments with flavor percentage and/or flavor enhancers.

I don't think this is the cause of the harshness but I would scrap the water unless you absolutely need it for wicking. A 60/40 ratio should wick fine in most equipment.

Not sure what you're experiencing, but all the above is great advice, give it a whirl

When I started DIYing I noticed a harshness that I actually enjoy, and would have to call it better TH

I have a theory that some of my vendor juices actually have less nic then they claim to have, and my own mixes are just what they claim to be (I hope :)?)

No real evidence for this except 1) greater TH on my own batches 2) more buzz :)

It might be that he accidentally sent you a stronger mix of nic accidentally. Or the nic has some xtra additives. Do you have other nic to try?

I only ordered once from RTS, and it was stinky, which usually turns into a foul taste after awhile.

You can put a drop of vg and pg on your tongue to taste test, then add nic and vape- test separate from your other ingredients. Some of us vape unflavored everyday, so you can be assured that it's not bad tasting.

I used to use them, great customer service, but 3rd order got the stinky nic. I believe I have bad luck with some of these companies- I know alot of people get good nic from places I don't. Maybe part of it is that I only vape unflavored and can tell right away because no flavors are covering it up.

I'm sure that's a part of it, and with time you've probably developed a much more keen sense of taste when it comes to nic, vg and pg without all the other jive in the mix

I just looked at onestop and it seems a bit pricey though. I'll try it eventually!
