I had a skycig last year but it was too expensive to keep going, with cartridge prices so high.. So I've been back on cigarettes since last August. I now have an eGo CE which I got 2 days ago. It came with a bottle of 24mg liquid but I find this extremely strong, I've been smoking about 9 or 10 roll ups a day for about 3 years, expect on holiday where cigarettes are cheaper, I could smoke a box of Marlboro reds in a day. I was wondering if I could drop to 0mg liquid easily or if I'd find it difficult. I'm using red bull liquid now I think it's 12mg, should I slowly work down to 0mg? I've smoked for about 3 years, and have so far managed to quit for 4 months at the most. Also any tips on cleaning atomizers and how often I should replace them, best eliquid flavours and websites would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Khloe

Hi! What are you trying to work out?

24mg is too strong - throw it out if you only smoke half a pack (you don't say what sort...)

If you want to quit nicotine, drop as often as you can until you reach zero. I am working way there now.

To be totally honest, you should buy some 6mg and plan to quit ASAP.

Ask on AAEC UK for good UK Vendors.

There are hundreds of e-cig vendors ripping people off. Please do your best to avoid these companies.

I buy most of my hardware from myepack. Most of my liquids are from LT ecigs.

Never pay more than £3.00 for liquid unless it's special "niche" liquid. We, as a community, have got to stop thinking £4.99 is the price for liquid. IT'S NOT. That's the price people want you to pay.

I buy Hangsen for £1.50 Dekang for £1.50 or £2.49. Fruits and sweets for £2.40 and my favourites are £5.40 for 30ml.

£5.40 for 30ml. Some companies will charge you £5.99 for 10ml of exactly the same liquid.

Again, ask on AAEC UK.

I smoke amber leaf rollies, a 12.5g box would usually last me a week which is cheap enough, €5.50 a week.. I haven't smoked in 2 days though.. I'm in Ireland and the website I got my ecig from charges €2.49 for a 10ml bottle of eliquid so it's not too bad.. Was thinking of getting a 12mg liquid soon and then working down to 0mg eventually I'm just not sure how long it should take to get down, don't want to get too used to the stronger liquids..

I smoked Amber Leaf (sometimes others) for 15 years.

You should/could already be on 12mg.

How fast is up to you. I smoked for 20 years and am in no rush, but WANT to quit by 2016 when the s*** is going to hit the fan in the UK.

I am half 12mg and half 6mg at the moment.

You could do it over a year easily, but there are moments that will get you... not that everyone is the same.

You could dilute your 24mg liquid by buying a nicotine-free eliquid in the same flavour, rather than waste it.

12 mg is probably about right if you smoked 10 a day. If you're not getting cravings then it can be worth trying to reduce the nicotine. There is no rush, the important thing is you are off the cigarettes. Do it at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

I did that. worked pretty good too. I wouldn't dilute it with 0g though but that's jst me. make sure to keep track when you fillyour clearomizer of how much ur using of each strength so you can over time use more of the lower strength until you don't need the 24mg.

ENJuice is also a good eliquid supplier, and for their premium mixes they source everything in the EU. Their economy line has the same flavours, but they aren't sourced in the EU.

I was on about the same number of roll-ups as you, and I'm on about 2ml of 18mg per day. Since I moved to RBAs I'm getting over-nic'ed fairly frequently, so I'm thinking it might not be long before I consider dropping to 12mg.
