What is considered "long term" when it comes to dis-charged batts? That is, how long after the batt is dis-charged (no longer powers the atty) should the batt be recharged in order to avoid damage to the lifespan of the batt? I just don't always have 3-4 hrs to devote to babysitting my charger whilst the batts recharge, and I won't charge them unattended. Is it ok to leave them in this state for a day or two?

I just put my charger on a 24 hour wall timer that has the little pegs to pull up or push down (multiple on/off times). I have it shut off automatically after 4 hours. I check it later and if they aren't charged, I turn the dial around to flip it on for another hour or two.

My discharged batteries all sit standing up in a box waiting their turn for the charger. I don't think it has made a difference if they sit for a while. They aren't fully discharged (I get a new battery out when I notice a drop off in vapor or put a new battery in sometime the next day for the 18650, so it never is fully discharged).
