I quit smoking many years ago. Recently, I started vaping for personal reasons. I know clouds are very popular, but my main goal is to increase my nicotine intake as needed. I recently started using and still currently use a Vaporesso Xros Pro, with 18mg flavorless, 0.4 ohm, and 25W settings. If my goal is to increase nicotine levels, shouldn't I be raising the ohms? My next question: Considering my goals, would it be advisable to buy something like a GeekVape Max100 (Aegis Max 2) with a Z (Zeus) Nano MTL Tank, which can use 0.8 and 1.2 ohm coils? So, from what little I've read, I'm guessing I will need to switch to higher ohms, lower watts, and eventually move to salts. Does this sound like the right way to go?
Thanks
If you want more nicotine, just use 50 mg salt nic that’s common for pod systems.
Devices like the Vaporesso with a 1.0Ω pod are designed for that.
The Max 2 is a mod. It’s not “stronger” by itself it just allows much higher wattage, depending on the atomizer and coil you’re using. That means it
can vaporize more liquid per puff, but only if you build or use low-resistance coils.
If you use the same ohm and wattage that you are using in vaporesso, it wont make any difference.
Using 50 mg salt in a high-wattage setup like the Max 2 is way too much definitely not recommended, even with the zeus MTL. (You would need to close the air intake)
The idea that “higher ohms = more nicotine” likely comes from the fact that you use higher nicotine concentrations with high-ohm setups, because they produce less vapor. It's not that they deliver
more nicotine it’s just more concentrated per drop.
Lower resistance + higher power = more heat = more vapor = more nicotine per puff.
If you put 50 mg salt in a 0.2Ω coil at 60W, you’d probably regret it after one hit.
Pods like the Vaporesso are better for strong nicotine. Mods like the Max 2 are built for freebase, custom coils, and large vapor production.
They’re completely different vaping styles.
I don't like MTL, i'm more into DL, maybe you should check it too, what you really need
This is just a simplified overview
