I am looking in to getting a genesis style atomizer, I am thinking the RSST is the way to go. Are they a cool or warm vape? Where is the best place to get one and the ss mesh and kanthal? I have a SiD, what gauge should I get? Thank you. :vapor:

Like.. doood, you made a good choice with the RSST, and as long as you don't use a juice that messes up that tank you will be okay. I started with the AGA-T2, pyrex tank, but my next RBA will be the RSST, which I expect to order this week. The RSST has some pretty spiffy features in an RBA, one being the insulated wick hole, another being the tank that keeps your wick from touching metal and shorting out, and another being the spring-loaded capture on the center post. It's a clone of the AC9 really, but a lot cheaper with some very nice features. You can get the RSST for $25, the AC9 will cost you $140. Smart choice dooood!

Those were the exact reasons I decided to start my adventure into RBA's with an RSST. It just seemed like it would be a little easier for a total noob like me to start tinkering and seeing if I could get the hang of it before shelling out the extra money for something "better".

Found out the hard way, Tanks and I just are not a good match. I have no problems building decent coils and they work great. Problem is I'm always switching Flavors. sometimes a dozen a day. Tanks end up sitting for days and that bothers me.
Then with my work schedule, it could be 3-7 days before I even get back to one.:glare:

RSST is a excellent beginner tank with Pro results easily attained. Only down side is the possibility of the center post leak. Easily fixed though. Tanks molded center is not the same height as the outer rim and needs a gasket of some sort to fill the gap.

they are getting ready to release the rsst with glass tank, dont know details.. all geni's will affect the vape slightly different, size of the top cap, wick hole size. airhole size etc. some are warmer then other and it can be controlled by build and setup, to a small degree. I have a ton of RBA's and my genesis takes the crown. while i love my other devices, and some types are better suited for out and about, while sitting here i would rather vape my gemini over everything else.

you can get small amounts of mesh and wire anywhere just about, if you decide its the way you want to go then temco supply for wire and okcvapes or steam monkey for mesh in volume.

I bought a I-Atty clone from Fast Tech for $16 delivered. Figured that was cheap to try my hand at genesis. It finally shipped and should be here in another week. In the mean time, while impatiently waiting, I pulled the trigger on the Russian rba, the Kayfun exact copy/clone. Paid $95 + shipping, and am extremely happy with it. Did a a SS mesh silica build on it, and this things hitting like a Mount Saint Helens eruption. Am so happy with this rba, that I'm in on a co-op buy for the Rocket rba, another Kayfun clone, for about $12.50 + shipping

Excited to see how the genesis stacks up to the Russian, once I have it dialed in.

This all got me to thinking, when's the last time some one was excited to try a new brand of analog cigarettes? Don't ever recall being excited about buying smokes, feeling the need, but never thought, "Oh Joy, Oh Bliss, I'm can't wait to try the new Camel's Turkish blend, or or, maybe their new squeeze filter extreme taste!!!! Yee Haw, now that's a cigarette that will put a Cuban to shame!!"

Anyone out there in Vape Land, ever feel that way about tobacco? Yeah, not me ever.

what mod are you looking at buying?

If that was directed at me, I'm waiting on a Vamo V3 right now.

The RSST 2 is going to have a glass tank from what I hear.

That would be interesting... will be on the lookout for that one, assuming all goes well with my RSST.
