Genesis Mesh WIck Size Chart?!?!?!?!

Sorry if this is the wrong place. Ive seen a diagram floating around of different sizes of steel mesh to cut out to fit specific genesis attys. Just cant seem to find it anywhere. Anyone have this or know where I can find it? Very helpful.

Most likely based on someones preferred opinions. There is no standard I bet 5 people building the same atty will do it 5 diff ways. After a couple wicks you start to learn quickly what will work for your style of setup, and power.

I dont even measure anymore just take the scissors and say yep about there should work, and it does.

But I got a ruler out so I would guess 35 to 45 mm wide depending on the hole, besr part is you can always cut more off or roll it smaller to make it fit the hole.

You guys roll it first then torch or torch the flat piece then roll it?

I just use a lighter on the mesh before I roll it.

Same, I just quickly burn off any oil and to stiffen the mesh for easier rolling.
I dont even torch/oxidize anymore.
roll a wick, wrap the wire on it, attach the wire to the atty,, slowly pulse out the shorts and go.

All youll ever need to do, done right it works great.

On a mech use a weak battery at first

Add some juice and vape it a bit. Then switch to a new battery. Couple tanks later not even any random hotspots.

An ordinary lighter may soot up your wick quite a bit. I soak my wicks in e-liquids and set it on fire. After rolling it. Won't burn very hot and gives a more even result than directly scorching it. It's mainly to burn off any residual machine oils.

A jet/storm lighter burns much cleaner and won't leave much soot. Still, I don't see the need to heat treat the wick a lot.

So soot from a butane lighter is bad but soot from burning E-juice is good???? How is this logical?

Not saying it's necessarily bad for you. Just saying it may clog up your wick; resulting in undesired flavors and poor wicking.
