I like AGA-T2+, but I think I'm the only one.

The only modding I do to them is open the air hole to my size and open the wick hole. But until I figured out I like larger wicks I was happy with just the air hole opening.
Pulse gives great flavor but doesn't like my usual ribbon build (I'm also not a fan of duals). It took very little modifying (carto .... plug for the fill hole, plug the spare air hole, open the wick a little) to use with a more standard round wire build.
Kraken is pretty good but took more modifying and it depends on what brand you get, some have a plug for the 2nd wick, some don't. (And I think some have a screw on cover which could present some problems.)
I had to make a washer for my negative screw, turn down the positive washers, plug the 2nd air hole, open the wick hole, open the fill hole to take an RSST plug. Now it's pretty perfect with my usual ribbon builds.
Instead of setting the air hole to be at the smaller end of the V I set it so it's half covered at the larger end to blow over the whole wrap.
Then there's the AGA-TD modified to be a single coil (RSST plug with a 1.5mm pin stuck through it fits the large wick hole). I really like it set up as a single and 75mm wide mesh (but remember, I'm one of the few who like AGA-T2).
Even the Mini-Did is good with the wick hole opened. (Not stainless so I'm not sure how I feel about vaping with brass the drilling exposed to the liquid. Probably not going to be a usual vape.)
AGA was difficult. It took the airhole being opened and the cap ground down to get the air hole to line up with the wick (it's a screw on). Not something I recommend unless you're willing to learn modding or have a loose cap because odds are that air hole isn't going to be lined up.
That's all I have to report on.
Basically you can make almost any gennie good if you can do a little metal work to make them suit your needs.
