As I'm sure you may have noticed with your recent orders we have been giving free 5ml samples. They are not random but recommended by us! For our frequent purchasers we take a look at your total order history and repurchase history to see what flavors you may have missed that follow your genre of 'favorites' and for new buyers we base it off your choices and pick a popular flavor you may have missed! Did you love our choice?? Let us and others know in this thread!

I was fortunate enough to receive a free sample of RY4 with an order I placed a few weeks ago. To be honest, I had pretty much given up on RY4s and haven't ordered one in quite some time. I find many of them to be a little too "dessertlike" for my taste. I was pleasantly surprised by DV's RY4! The original RY4 was a blend of tobacco, caramel, and vanilla, and now, any variation on that theme with those base ingredients can be considered an RY4. The dominant flavor that I taste in DV's RY4 is caramel. I have had a life-long love affair with caramel, but I find most caramel e-liquids that I've tried to be overly sweet, or cloying. The caramel in RY4 is mellow, yet present -- just right in my book! I don't taste much vanilla, but if it is present, perhaps it is mellowing the caramel without adding to its sweetness. The tobacco flavor is also subtle, but rounds out the mix nicely, adding a nice slightly dry and subtly woody and earthy undertone to the caramel flavor. The throat hit is excellent, and the vapor production is solid. Overall, I give this flavor thumbs up, and I wish to thank Darth Vapers for including it in my order!

Great review! I'm glad you enjoyed it! You should enter it into our contest! :toast: We definitely have vanilla in there but because of the fact we don't use any sweeteners the vanilla does precisely what you described.... mellows out and balances the caramel and the tobacco!

Thanks! I think I will enter it in the contest. Is it okay to enter it from here, or should I re-post the review somewhere outside of the DV forum? In the meantime, I'll start thinking about doing some more reviews so that I can hedge my bets! :)

I really like the fact that you don't add additional sweeteners. When a juice is too sweet I can handle it for a few puffs here and there, but it usually ends up being a deal-breaker for me. This is one of the more balanced RY4s that I've tried. Thanks again!!!
