Get to play with the iTaste MVP v2 vv/vw for the day

So i ran out of the house without my PV this morning, thank The Nine my buddy had his mod on him. I was jealous when he got it, but after having it for the last hour I just cant get a good vape, its way to harsh. I'm useing my backup KangerTeck T3S and I was hoping that some wise user could give a Moose some pointers.

What voltage or wattage setting is currently on the mvp?

well i have next to no idea how to use it. or decode the display readout.
Its telling me U = 4.0 and P = 6.0
i hate being totally in the dark

Could try playing with your voltage. Start low and move up until the taste is better.
Press and hold U until you get back to seeing the 4.0, then each click moves it up. Keep clicking until you get it to 3.3 which is the lowest setting. Take a taste. Move up to 3.5 or whatever and taste again, repeat until it tastes better for you.

Ok, so the U is voltage, this will help me figure this out. I'm slower than normal on account of 2 days of no sleep

U is for the voltage reading P is for watts. You are running too high of voltage, try starting at the bottom of the scale and moving up. A stock EGO non VV is at 3.7 volts. See how that works for ya.

One is voltage one is wattage. You have to make sure the setting is optimal for the ohms in your coil. Too low wont fire, too high will burn.

Whichever button you press last is the setting it uses. If you want volts, don't touch the P button after you set the U.

and I already set the volts to 3.4 dieselrick, it helped a bit but its still harsh on my throat. I think it jst may be the juice, seeing as i dont have this problem with my vision of unknown amperage

That's very possible. One of my juices will be a completely different world with a .1 volt adjustment. Harsh as sand paper on one voltage, bump it up one its as smooth as glass.

Now that I've played with it a bit i really want one. Its amazing with my Aspire BDC and the other juice I use .
No Jthegolfer, it worked like normal with my Vision now that i have it back . My guess, not a good tank/juice for the MVP. But I'm still figuring this out

This is a good instructional video, but for anyone new, notice it was filmed September, 2013. He talks about the fire button being so hard to push. That has been changed in the newer models, I think. I am female and have no problem whatsoever pushing the button with my thumb. I think there were a lot of complaints with the first ones back then, and they have since corrected this flaw in the device.
