I'm having trouble with poor performance out of all my RDAs. The vape I'm getting from them is bubbling and spitting instead of atomizing the juice and flavor is off and/or subdued. This started happening about a week ago after months of no trouble at all with single and dual coils. Both of my Derringer clones are doing it as well as a couple of Tugboats after vaping great, build after build. One of the Derringers is brand new, just tried it out yesterday. I always build 8 wrap coils with 26 or 24 ga kanthal.

It's almost like it's shorting but the resistance readings on my mods are consistently where they should be with my builds. I've had shorts before when I was new to rebuilding and know the bad taste and fluctuating resistance readings. I've tried everything I know to do and hope to get some suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance for any advice y'all can give me.

Have you changed your wicking material at all, not changed the wick but gone from cotton to rayon or such? Different materials require different methods of wicking.

No, I'm using the same box of KGD I was using before when getting a really good vape.

Have you tried totally breaking each atty down as far as you are comfortable, and give them a good going over. Clean and inspect, checking all of the insulators??

I clean them but haven't taken them apart. I'll give that a try.

Are your batteries going dead?

Batteries are good. Having the same problems with a fresh 18650 right now.

Well, if your using all different mods, different rda's, different batteries.. it can only be one of 2 things, your charger or your build lol It really sounds like low voltage but it wouldn't happen on all those different mod/rda combinations unless your charger is not charging your batteries all the way. Do you have a voltmeter to check your batteries?

recieved a new batch of juice or different juice lately?

I think it's got to be the build instead of the batteries or juice. The batteries just aren't that old and this doesn't happen with an OCC equipped Subtank on the same mods. The juice is from several different high quality, popular manufacturers. Coils are wrapped on an Artistic Coil Winding Gizmo and they look perfect. I'm really bummed because it was so good for months and now it's gone.

If you've been using the same coils for months, it's time to rebuild! lol

I think it is low voltage due to voltage drop on your rdas, try tightening everything, center post and screws, this has happened to me and the culprit was the center post

Maybe that's it. Thanks.

A week is a long time for me to stay with a build. Usually just a few days and I want to put another one in there.

It almost sounds as if you are dissatisfied with vaping in general.. But, if I am going to try and assist I would have to go along with what others have said about low voltage. I use derringers. One regular one and a bottom fed.. But you know that. Lol.

Never used a tug boat. My derringers spit when I use too high pg and/or too low power.

just to clarify, he knows how to build and vape, he has been doing it on the same rdas and mods for some time, and then suddenly on it doesn't perform.

it's not the build technique, he knows how to
its not the mods, tried in different ones
its not the wick, he knows how to wick...

by eliminating the dead ends, I still think you have a bad connection inside the rda, it sometimes happens and it can drive you mad trying to pinpoint the issue, when it happened to me I dismantled and reassembled 50 times my mod(that I made) thinking that I have screwed up, a few days latter I did find the issue on the rda and not the mod

There have been days where I've rebuilt 3-4 times. See a build on instagram or youtube and decide to give it go. Though I got a lot of wire so it's not a big deal. I also love rebuilding, this weekend I'm going to set up one of those Clapton jigs people use, with the clamp and the fishing spinner really looking forward to what I can make with it, that and I'm tired of destroying my finger tips when ever I make claptons.
