USPS should change the wording on that site. It does say "Track and Confirm" leading one to believe that they can track their packages.
Mine didn't arrive today eitherIt typicaly takes 2 days sometimes 3. This is day 5, keeping my fingers crossed for a Monday delivery.
your right.
from usps:
What information is available when using a service that confirms delivery?
The only information provided for services that confirm delivery is the date and time of delivery or attempted delivery. Delivery confirmation services do not provide tracking information for an item in transit. These services are designed to be a less expensive alternative to tracking.
it also states this:
If you are the addressee, you should contact the sender for more information.
If you were expecting confirmation information and it has not arrived, please allow 5 postal business days from the date of mailing for First Class and Priority Mail. If no confirmation information is received by this time frame, then contact customer assistance at 1-800-222-1811 to have them check the delivery status.
