Getting a taste out of a Kanger t2

I am using kanger t2s. I had a juice I really coundn't vape, so I dumped it and cleaned the clearo with water. I cannot use vodka or everclear for this becuse we don't play well together.

Anyways, the smell from the offensve juice is still there a bit. I refilled it with something else in hopes of coverng it, and then had an allergic reaction to the first liquid I had in there.

My question is, should I change the wick, clean it some other way, or just take the loss and toss it?

I'd try replacing the wick, but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will have better advice. In my limited experience, wicks have a way of retaining the flavor of the first juice used with them. Good luck! Happy Vaping!

dont' have much experience w/ kangers but maybe some 100 proof vodka would help wash the taste out...soak it and then rinse w/ distilled water

some juices ,mostly cinnamon and menthol are almost impossible to get the taste out of .

you can try a vinegar soak and then a really rinse afterward ,might work ??

Did you pull the overwick and dry burn?
Rinse it out open the coil keep burning it till it glows for a few seconds. Wait a second and do again 3 times. Rinse coil repeat if needed. New wick would be great also.
just a thought, have no idea, but what about quick hydrogen peroxide rinse? May damage it not sure at all.

you can rebuild the heads too,there are several youtube vids on how to do it

Before anything, put them in baking soda in water... Leave overnight.

I thought that one of the major attractions to a Kanger t2 was replaceable coil units. I haven't had any nasty flavors to try and totally remove, but rinsing in very hot water a few times and replacing the entire coil unit should work. Is this wrong?

Cinnamon is a really hard one to get rid of, but basically no you are not wrong. I finally got that one working, but if I remember correctly, at the time, the question was how to clean them without alcohol. The real answer for me was to switch to carto tanks, and I'm alot happier now.
