Getting a Triton? What setup?

I will be going with the 1300 iri with a purple and clear tank and a large iri cone. Are the cones just basically cosmetic? I kind of like being able to see the tank but I'd like to be able to switch up the look with a cone. I purchased a Halo drip tip for my G6 and really liked it. Will there ever be a similar option to order for the triton or mini-tanks?

The cone is cosmetic. If you are using the larger Triton tank though it won't fit. I am not sure if it will work on the smaller G6 tanks or not though. I will try it when I get it. Basically my understanding is that the cone is for use with cartos. The cone will provide a more consistent look and cover up the carto with just the end sticking out. I really like the low resistance cartos so I intend to use them on the Triton. Plus I find cartos handy for running through flavors I don't use that much or am just trying.

Drip tips - since the Triton and G6 tanks are based (if not entirely) on the Kanger T2's, the drip tip is not removable. Which kinda sucks, it is one of the things I actually like about my Vivi Nova tanks. However, the drips tips fit on Halo cartos just fine.

Quick tip! The Triton kit comes with a large cone, these CAN be used with any of our cartos but look/feel best with XL cartos. If you are planning on using standard cartos or LR cartos consider purchasing a standard cone!

Just unpacked...

At first I was worried I didn't really get 1300's, they seem so small, they are smaller than a 900mah twist I just got, which is smaller than my 2 generic 1000mah twists. But 99.5mm on the nose, just like Cinder said. Hope they get twists in more colors because 106 is a fine size too.

The color, at least in this light, looks exactly like the website. I will take it outside eventually, but couldn't be more giddy. Damn cool looking.

Sadly you cannot use the g6 tanks with the cone. The tanks are just a bit wider diameter than the cartos and won't fit through. Even if you remove the tip first. No big.

A carto with the cone (mine is large) leaves plenty of carto at the tip (these are standard size cartos). Looks better with a drip tip but it isn't necessary to me. I don't think I will need to get a small cone at all. In fact I think too much might stick out with a standard cone. YMMV.

I suppose I should load some juice and get vaping... Freedom/longhorn/tiki are the things I got that I haven't had, Freedom will be first I think...

Quick tip, by a sampler, when you pick your faves, keep the 7ml bottles. They are much easier to carry in your daily kit than a 30 and the 30ml dripper bottle makes it super easy to refill your travel bottles!!!

I have the Triton 900mah battery with 2 of the Triton tanks, charger, small cone, and blank G6 cartomizers. I am going to add to this as I go along. I like the cartomizers with the cone, to make an easier "out and about" solution since I carry it in my shirt pocket. Nice thing is even the 900mah battery with a cartomizer is only 1/2" longer than my old cigalike, but I get great run-time...just slip an extra cartomizer in my pocket and I'm good for a day at work. The tanks are great and my preferred vape but as I don't carry a purse/bag, cartomizers still are an important part of it for me. I have not tried the LR cartomizers, but will on my next order, along with the 650mah battery and a couple of the G6 mini-tanks and some replacement coils for the Triton tanks.
