What voltage would you guys recommend running the nautilus at? it comes with a 1.8Ω coil, and a 1.6Ω replacement coil. I hear people talking about running these tanks anywhere from 9Watts to 12W on average and even some people going as high as 15W!!

So I know that;
1.8Ω @ 4.8V = 12.8W
1.6Ω @ 4.8V = 14.4W
However both of these are well over 2Amps, and from my understanding you shouldn't go over 2A...

However my current tank is 2Ω and I generally run it at 4.3V because 4.8V starts to taste a little burnt. So am I missing something here? can the Aspire coils handle a higher wattage than the Kanger coils? Also what voltage would everyone here recommend?

Yes the the nautilus can handle more then the protanks with stock coils.
For me 10W is optimal.
Who told you, you can't pass 2 amps.
You didn't even tell us what mod yr using, if it's regulated it will not let you pass what it can't handle and if it's a mech it depends on the battery used, but any battery can handle 2 amps.

The tax farm known as USA.
what voltage would everyone here recommend?

there's no right answer here, personally i would start at 3.7 and tweak from there
but, if we were to extrapolate your current preference of
2.0 @ 4.3 = ~9.245 watts
then
1.8 @ 4.07934 = 9.245 watts
and
1.6 @ 3.84604 = 9.245 watts

I have heard the nautilus has better wicking than the kanger stuff so you may be able to go higher than 9.245 watts without getting into burned hit land so keep that in mind.

hope this helps and enjoy your nautilus.

BTW, i play whm on excalibur

Thanks for the tips everyone. Probably should have mentioned I'm not using a mod, I'm using a Spinner II and I just have ohms law memorized like that back of hand. Cant wait to try it out, im going around today to see if I can find one locally...for a reasonable price, if not then I already found it online for a good price.
