I am hoping the drainage, sandpaper throat, mucus, mucus, mucus is caused by Vapor 4 Life carts that have VG, and not an allergy I've developed to PG or other chemicals in the carts. I am waiting to get the V2 carts and continue to vape the vapor 4 life carts all tobacco flavored.

I wanted to try vapor 4 life because the PG/VG ratio is higher, I thought it might not be as bad healthwise, but for me I think it's worse. Think I'll stick with V2. If tat doesn't clear this up not sure what to do.

Anyway getting frustrated, thinking I may be hurting myself as bad as I was with the few analogs I smoked each day

Hi, I'm new and probably can't offer much help, but from what I've read on other threads, you could also be having reaction to something in the flavoring. There are quite a few sites that allow total customization of ejuice and vg/pg ratio, as well as flavor percentage. The sites that I've ordered from so far and have been impressed with the juices are -

deejStuff eLiquid, The Apocalypse can wait...

VaporBomb.com and

www.kickbassvapors.com

I'm also using a 5v box mod from foxyboxmods.com - Home and a Ego 510 Passtrough 3.7 Volt. I'm using a mix of different cartos if you're interested in those, I can link to those too. Sorry to hear about your situation, hope you get it figured out.

Keep in mind the time of year. I'm surrounded by people with sinus problems (corn was taken down late this year) and bad colds. As a matter of fact, I've got one myself (and I'm happily vaping my menthol enhanced 75/25 e-liquid to help unplug the sinuses).

While the e-liquid will keep you somewhat more protected from the common cold, it may very well be that's exactly what you've caught. Any other symptoms? Itch at wrists or neck/throat? Stomach problems?

Hope you get feeling better!!!

Also keep in mind that for around 3 months after switching to ecigs, you will find your body cleansing itself of the toxins from cigarettes, and while its doing that, its sensitive to the new products you are offering it..

I went through hell to begin with, heartburn, the runs, muscle cramps, swollen glands, all of which settled down once my body got used to the changes.

I am not saying you should always associate these symptoms with the change over, of course you should not, its always advisable to have symptoms checked by a Doctor. I did, and when nothing was found, then I knew the answer..

VG for me, was a non starter, it caused me phlegm problems, and upset tummies, PG gave me the heartburn, so like you, I felt I was probably better off lighting a cigarette, but, I had found one thing about vaping that I preferred to cigarettes, and that was the choice of flavours.

I quickly learned to mix my own juices, and bought my flavourings from trusted vendors here in the UK, and over a period of time, gradually introduced small amounts of VG into the mix, giving my body time to adjust, which worked well for me.

Now almost 3 years down the line, I enjoy my 70/30 mix (PG/VG) and although I do occasionally have a gland flare up, I am glad I persevered and found what was right for me.

One of the key factors is to keep saying to yourself, I'm gradually switching, not quitting, that quit word is like the word Diet to me, it guarantees failure..

Good Luck.
