So I have been vaping here, cigarette free for almost 6 weeks. Right now I am enjoying the setups I currently have:

iTaste vv
Smoktech T-dux 2.0
Kanger T3s

All my life I have been a tinkerer. With computers I always overclocked, etc. With cell phones, I am always putting ROM's. And the list goes on. So it is only natural that I would want to put that attribute to use with vaping.

I have been reading a lot and watching tons of youtube videoes on the kayfun mini clones. I want to give one a try. I love my setups, but you can't rebuild the smoktech heads(well maybe you can, but from the looks of the inside, I might prefer to punch myself in the face). The kanger heads can be rebuilt...and I do, but the kayfun looks a lot easier.

Is there any other RBA would be suggest that I might like better? I am trying to stick to the current size setup I have. I like the 1.5-2ml tanks, cause they fit nice on the vv.

Thanks in advance.

Hi! You sound a lot like me..always tinkering and looking for betterrrr /morrre...LOL.

I'm vaping a Kayfun 3.1 clone and a Taifun GT, both by HCigar. I absolutely LOVE them! Night and day difference, to me, from the clearo tanks.
The Taifun and Kayfun share some similarities...but are wicked differently.

I constantly go back and forth between them; I keep the Taifun on my MPV v2 and the Kayfun on my iTaste 134. IF I had to give up one...I would KEEP the Taifun...but only by a "hair". I think (YMMV) the Taifun edges out my Kayfun SLIGHTLY in flavor. BUT I get a slight bit more vapor out of my Kayfun. I use cotton for wicks in both.

Sounds like you did your research. Both have their nuances, but I have had zero problems with leaking, gurgling etc. with either. I AM very .......er...careful with my builds / wicking / filling though.

OK...I just lied. The day I got the Taifun, the guy at the vape shop made me a coil, and a cotton wick, we filled up the tank and I vaped happily off. During the 40 minute drive to work...I decided to peek inside ... don't know why. I inadvertently found a way to empty the tank FAST. I had to change my shirt and pants...but of course that was "MY BAD", not the atty's!

The Taifun, to me, is slightly harder to wick than the Kayfun, but I've learned some tips for both and am getting good flavor and decent vapor from both.

I think you'll be happy with either. Let us know what you decide! Brian

Well the KayFun is a BIG atomizer, even the KFL is huge when compared to many other options. There is probably enough steel in one KF to build three drippers for example.
So they would look out of place sitting on top of a small itaste vv battery.

TRUE- they look out of place and are top heavy on my MPV v2. But at least for now, I don't care. I have a "satchel" I carry out and at work; I can only vape in the areas where smoking is allowed, so it doesn't bother me much. My iTaste 134 is too heavy for me to tote around, but the Kayfun does look good / proper on it. Maybe some day I'll get into a mechanical device or a tube device that has VW but is less cumbersome than the 134.

Unfortunately the Taifun does not come in a mini version. The mini version is pretty big, but it won't look to awkward on my itaste vv. I am not ready to jump into big batteries just yet.
