Hi guys,

I want to get into dripping, I've been rebuilding the rba
base of my Subtank Mini for a few months now.

What is a good place to start?
I'm looking for a good regulated box and a nice dripper (easy to build, authentic)
to begin with.

I'm used to building with Kanthal and I don't really mind TC.
Any way I could do that with the new regulated mods like the rx200?

Any suggestions?

Thanks alot :p

What mod do you currently use? I have a KBox mini, and when I am not puffing on my subtank mini or orchid, I am dripping with my derringer. KBox mini works great for my uses. Maybe to start you should just grab an RDA.

I use the KBox Mini too but doesn't Drippers battery drainers?

How do you build yours?

Anyway, I was looking for an upgrade to try different builds than my standard .5 ohms/5 wraps.

I guess it depends on what you are trying to do. If you want humongous coils to blow massive clouds, you will probably want a bigger Mod.

Like you, I wanted to try something different, but I wanted to try it with a minimal investment. My derringer is a clone, and it cost $10. I build a single coil with parallel 28g kanthal. It tastes great around 20w and blows big clouds (for me) around 35w. My battery life is only slightly less than when I am using a tank because my wattage is only slightly higher.

I like it, and it works great for me.

Nice, I might try it hehe, so how many ohm's are you getting?

I'm also more of a flavor chaser, I want to try some Max VG with it as I can
go up to 80-85% VG on the RBA to get flavor :p

I think the coil in that picture is .5.

I don't think there is 510 atty that wouldn't work. Just make sure that you only snug the atty. If it's 510 is longer than normal, and you tightened it too much, you could damage the KBox. Besides that, you should be fine.

The only RDA I own is the derringer clone. It is fantastic! I haven't gotten bored with it to purchase a different one yet.

Okay, the Bambino RDA by Wismec is a Derringer ''Clone'' but is of good
quality and has some improvements (or so I've heard). They sell it for 22.99$
at my vape store so I might get it.

If you are looking for authentics I would recommend Wotofo. I have a lush and an ice cubed.

Both are awesome and very reasonably priced. I plan to try the rest of there RDAs too in time. The lush has better air flow and the ice has better flavour.

I'm currently using an x cube 2 with the lush. Dual Clapton kanthal 28awg 10 wraps. 0.26 ohms and 120 watts. It OS still giving a fairly cool vape.

The ice is set up with Clapton SS as I find you get a cleaner taste with ss.

What is the airflow like on the Ice Cubed? I've got my eye on that one.

It's still fairly decent. You have to be careful you don't put too much liquid in because its size and top airflow will leave you with a mouth full of juice if you draw too hard and it's too full. It looks amazing and the flavour is great but I'd still switch out to the lush if I wanted something to really chug on.

That may just be me, I'm a very aggressive vaper, for want of a better word.

The bambino isn't a derringer clone.
They are similar ( both are small) but have alot of differences.
They are not improvements.

The airflow can't be adjusted, and the drip tip is built in and can't be removed.
