Back in the day, before there were so many better alternatives, we tossed the cartridges that came with the atomizers and dripped liquid directly onto the wick of the atomizer. Drip tips were invented for this purpose.

Old school attys can still be bought, I'm sure at many places. The first place I looked was LF. They still carry them.

Want to get into dripping but dont know what to buy. I want something simple to begin with. Not really concerned with rebuildibility yet as just getting into this area. Any suggestions or ideas.

I had the same issue--what I did was get the rda and it came with the wick and coil pre-installed. I also bought a pack of 10 premade wick/coil assemblies. That way, I can replicate what I have in front of me, I can learn how to install/remove the existing one, or if I find it's too much of a PITA, I can keep buying premade ones. I plan on re-wicking my existing coil with cotton first. I like to take baby steps. :p

Oh yeah, and there's always dripping atomizers you can use. Bridged, or bridgeless. Very cheap (unless you go with the HH357) and easy to use. I decided not to go that way because I'd like to get some RBA's in the future and I can practice rebuilding on my dripper.
