Getting it All Together! Informed Vaping!

Hello fellow vapers! I recently purchased a brand new gold, Snow Wolf 200W box mod. It's quite nice and has more safety features than perhaps any box mod currently on the market today.

As I delve deeper and deeper into the art and science of vaping to edify myself on, attys, coiling, mods etc, it begins to get fairly complex not to mention confusing since I'm not an electrician.

All of these various types of atomizers, coils, gauges, building, ohms, wattage, mods, batteries, & e-liquid can be a bit overwhelming. Getting the right atomizer to go with a TC device for example, the correct coil wires, wraps & coil builds, Getting it all together gets fairly detailed and can discourage one from getting into vaping.

If one doesn't understand the important aspects of safe vaping and getting it together correctly so all of the components perform as they should, could potentially suffer a serious injury, or ruin an expensive device is not a good thing, wouldn't you agree?

Because vaping is a rather new industry I have been looking around for some, any complete manual or book on the topic of "Getting it All Together" vaping safely and there's not much to pick from.

It's time for somebody to write something that will correctly explain all of these critical intricacies of vaping. They need to, break it down and explain the detailed process of setting up these different platforms correctly and why certain devices will or will not function safely with others.

Has anyone seen any books on this topic? Since new vaping technologies are emerging every day it seems, I'm not sure one will find a current complete resource other than going to different sites, forums, etc. to extract the necessary information needed.

I'm thinking its time for an up to date vaping resource guide, especially for those analog smokers considering the switch to vaping but feel overwhelmed by information overload, the many scary, stern safety warnings, exploding batteries, shorts etc. So much to know for a great vaping experience even though manufacturers are beginning to dumb this down using computer chip technology to check on all systems making sure it is safe to vape there is still much to know.

The most important aspect of vaping IMO is of course, user safety. As more and more novice vapers dive into vaping without knowing what they are doing, I predict there will be more injuries, explosions and venting meltdowns because they don't understand the many potentially dangerous complexities of vaping, the limits and compatibilities of various devices attys, especially with mechanical mods that have no protection. Tiny 2-3 page user guides are just not the answer!

It's time for a "Getting it All Together" resource guide/book for any vaper to refer so they may enjoy the full-benefits of safe, quality, vaping. There's nothing like having an 18650 battery short out while deep down in one's pocket or purse (not me). These batteries can get very nasty if used or stored incorrectly. All it takes is any small piece of conductive material to touch the wrong places on an unprotected battery to ruin one's day not to mention what it can do to human tissue.

The Art and science of safe vaping is an absolute necessity and I hope we see something on this subject very soon. Safe vaping people!

The problem with vapers is in three areas.

1. Mech mods especially tge faux hybrids. If the 510 makes direct contact into positive end of an 18650 battery. If both the 510 and collar touch the battery. Its a hard short. And BOOM.

2. IDIOTS too busy to blow clouds without learning battery safety; building STUPID low resistances. Trying to pull 40 amps out of a 20 amp battery and BOOM.

3. people using Sub standard batteries like Efest (for one example) That list the pulse rating for the continuous duscharge rating.

If a person uses the grey matter between their ears and doesnt stress their batteries vaping is safe.

It'd be great to have a research-able document on vaping! That's one reason why I've chosen not to upgrade my equipment or build coils. All the info is scattered about these and other forums. Miss a post somewhere and it all falls apart.

Vaping is advancing way too rapidly to get a book out that would be "current".
    An online subscription service mabey?.

There's been very little change in what determines safety, just more to apply it to. Not only that, the current scene is actually more like frozen than advancing.

Generally, if you drive a basic car below the speed limit you'll be safe even if it's a piece of junk, but if you want to drive a Ferrari to the limit you'd better know exactly what you're doing and get constant maintenance.

IMO vaping is somewhat saver than it was when we started vaping 4 years ago., There was pretty well only 2 choices ego stick or mechanical mod. The variable volt mods were expensive cause I bought a provari 2.5 for almost 250 bucks that now are substantially less, never the less its user error and bad publicity giving vaping a bad name along with the governments loosing oodles of tax money they had come to rely on for their 6 figure incomes and perks. There is always someone who will push limits of whatever they can and some very stupid people out there. I run into some that tell me that vaping is bad, asked me why my hitter hasn't blown up yet or thats its just as expensive to vape as to smoke. I take a deep breath, smile, have a vape knowing other wise and anything I say could start a heated discussion I won't win. I just go get into my brand new silverado pickup with the money that vaping has saved us. They biggest thing they can't understand is that how vaping costs my wife and I 20 bucks a month vs the $600 to smoke ciggys..
You can't educate someone who doesn't want to learn.

I think anything that helps folk is a very worthy thing indeed. More power to your idea. :thumb:

Sure, there are websites that like to educate, but some of them are into 'education' for the status it gives them to then assist in selling rip-off brands and get paid.
It would be really easy for *deleted* to stop advertising the rip-off brands and get with the program, but they don't want to; not when you can be a part of the deeply selfish (and mildly immoral) attitude that says its OK to take people's money and mislead them because it's only $$$ right? It's not like people's success with vaping is on the line here, you know... a life and death sort of situation.

These websites should be the outcasts of our society until they rethink and stop this pathetic charade. They are not the fonts of all knowledge. They could be. Maybe they already think they are?
