So I just got my Provari in that my wife got me for my birthday woot woot.

Only been using it for a few minutes but already loving it.

Only thing I cant figure out is how to get the LED light up whenever I push the button to activate.

The .pdf says to pres button 15 times, which I did.. I got the the "Lo" display, and got to where I could select "of" or "on".. Ive tried both and neither seem to allow screen to light during normal use... Am I doing something wrong?

-EDIT-

Silly me. The LED on/off option isnt for the screen but for the button. :p

you bring up a good point. it would sure be nice for the voltage to pop up while you activated the fire button.

when accessing the menu, do you guys ever notice that sometimes 1 push of the button equals 2 pushes, and also sometimes 1 push equals 0 pushes? in other words, sometimes my menu pops up after 4 pushes, sometimes it takes 6. the same thing happens while scrolling through the different options. for example, if im on PU, and press twice, sometimes it will go to PD, sometimes it will go past, and other times it will land on the "--" and make me reset.

sometimes i wonder if this is my "blem". i got a chrome "blem" but there is no physical blemish (well, there wasnt when i first received it  ).

I've noticed what seems to be an inconsistent number of button presses to get into menu mode sometimes, but I've read posts about contact bounce and micro-tremors and how we sometimes actually are technically hitting the button more than once but can't perceive that that is happening. Whatever the explanation, I've just gotten used to watching the screen rather than counting.

i can believe the micro tremor thing. it would be nice if i got a micro tremor every time, shortening the button presses to 3. i think 3 is a good number for accessing the menu. or even better, have a separate button for the menu with 1 push to activate. these are obviously very minor details to an otherwise amazing device. for me personally 5 times is excessive, but hey if thats my biggest complaint im doing just fine! :)
