Getting Menthol out of Cartos.

I'm running an 808 manual from V4L with Cartos from V4L...

Most of my cartos I have were originally prefilled with Menthol 36mg.

I'm getting good at cleaning and drying (I actually do a reverse Taryn Spin to dry them..pretty nifty I think ..((not sure if thats an original idea or not)))

On those Menthol cartos, I'm having a heck of a time getting the Menthol taste out of them. I even tried vinegar and then boiling a second time. BOIL 15 minutes, vinegar, BOIL 30 minutes...

Any TIPS!?

Menthol is hard to get out... I'd try injecting one w/ Vodka/PGA and letting it sit a while. I know a lot of people use ultrasonic cleaners too but I don't have one and don't know if they remove tough flavors either.

Best is just to designate 'menthol attys' and cartos and only use them for menthol.

Yes menthol is a beast when it comes to switching flavors.. and to add to the comments made previously you could add a flavor that compliments menthol, like chocolate for instance.
