Hi all,

I've been vaping for about 8 months now. I currently use tanks and drippers. My mods include a few iSticks and a joytech Evic. I have Derringers, freak show, magma, tobh drippers. Subtank and Nautilus tanks. But focusing on my gear and specifically drippers, I am looking to get more power, flavor, and overall satisfaction out of my setups. I usually build coils 5-7 wraps 26g Kanthol. Around .7 ohm. Also dual cool which drops it to.3-.4. I vape in a range of 15-25 watts usually.

How can I increase the vape production? Get more out of my gear?

I feel like if I go above the threshold I listed I will get burnt hits.

Any and all advice related would be helpful. Thanks

I don't understand how people are getting 50, 60, 70, 80 plus watts. What's the secret? I just want to experiment with higher watts and more power
Try using less effective coils then. The larger the wire guage the slower it will heat up and more power is required to get the same Vape.

You could try art coils, gargoyle monkey's paw bonded Clapton nonsense. They require huge amounts of power to heat up all that mass and produce lots of hot air with the vapor.

Or get a 4 coil RDA. To get 20W per coil you'll need 80W total.

I recommend a Atty with lots of airflow to cool all that mass though.

I Vape my Velocity with 28/34 Clapton coils at 35W. Any higher and the vapor is too thick.

I have a velocity with a 26 gauge dual coil coming in right at .83 ohms (10 wraps, 3mm). I personally like it around 40 watts. If you built the coils and you wicked them, try bumping up your wattage slowly. Say, by 2.5 watts per attempt. You'll know if it starts to burn. I started this build at about 25 watts and worked up to 40. I could go higher, but the production (flavor and vapor) was enough so that I didn't need to go higher.

try some 32 gauge; 8 strands twisted together

or try claptons.
