Hello everyone! First, I want to thank everyone for being so helpful and informative. I've browsed the forums for several days now and have found MANY posts very beneficial in my search for my(our) first e-cig.

I am searching, mainly, for my partner who has smoked for years. He is excited to try the e-cig, I am, too! (It's mostly for him, but I have the occasional cigarette once and a while). Back on track -->

I am fairly certain I would like to order a DSE901 very shortly. I have been flopping back and forth between the 901 and the yeti/510 non-stop, though!

My partner would prefer an e-cig that looked like a regular analog. So, preferably all white or white with a brown tip/cart. It seems that this really narrows my options. I don't want to sacrifice performance just for looks, though! I really like the idea of a Personal Charging Case for him. That way he can take what he needs, hopefully, for the entire day in a case. We manage a restaurant/bar and sometimes get stuck doing 10, 12, or 14 hour days! But I only see the PCC for the 510 and not the 901.

Today, I nearly ordered the Yeti from Widowsbeadwork, but she's out until next week. I also nearly pressed submit on an order from TotallyWicked until I got wet feet about it actually being in stock or not. Then I thought I was making the wrong decision on a 510 and should shoot for a 901......
So, I went to e-smokeytreats and almost have the order ready, but froze and firgured it wouldn't hurt to ask you all for some advice!

Simply put, even after watching/reading dozens of reviews on each style and seller, I can't seem to commit!

Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thank you!!!!!!!!

PS Sorry if I'm a bit scatterbrained and ramble. . .It's 4am and I just finished reading/watching reviews since about 6pm!

Well, you're already familiar with The Widow (Widows Bead Work - Home), and she has a DSE901 white starter set for $44, free shipping. I've got to say that my two favorite vendors in terms of FAST shipping are Widows Beadwork and AltSmoke (AltSmoke - DSE901, The Yeti, Electronic Cigarettes, Catridges, & More.).

AltSmoke also has the DSE901, but not in white--a bit more expensive than Widows Beadwork, but he has a 5% coupon code ecigforum5off. I believe if you order $85, he ships free. Unfortunately, he is also out of the 501 starter set. :(

Personally, I think if I were looking for a 501, I'd probably go with the Janty Dura-C simply because the price has come down sufficiently that at $58.95, the much longer warranty is worth the differential. If you order from dietsmokes.com or vaporguys.com, both of whom sell the Janty Dura-C, you get free shipping at $100.

I started off with the DSE901, as did my son, daughter, and husband, and its a great starter e-cig.
I now have a Titan ( Dura C ) as does my daughter, (hubby has a Screwdriver ) and thats my e-cig of preference.

My advice would be to check out Janty's website and read the info there regarding the Dura C. Janty back up their products with some very good guarantee's.

It's very hard to recommend an e-cig for someone else, as we all have our personal favourites, so really I would say, read as much info as you can and watch the reviews of the products.

when I was looking for the right e-cig for me, I simply watched as many reviews as I could and that helped me decide which one was right for me.

Good Luck

General rule of thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the poorer the performance. Auto switch PV's (personal vaporizers) (mini's/super minis) have small batteries that last 2-3 hours and produce inconsistent vapor and throat hit. The larger battery PV's such as the Janty Stick, Screwdriver, LV/Zi Moshi, GG and Prodigy, have batteries that last 7-8 hours and produce consistent vapor and throat hit. The auto switch batteries cost about $20 to replace and the mod/manual switch batteries cost $2 to replace and you can get them at hundreds of retailers. Here's a few links that might be helpful:
