I've had my ZAP for 3 weeks and already cracked the quartz tank. The new design makes disassembling it darn near impossible. I had previously tried to take the quartz tank off to clean, but could not remove it. Gave up.

Any suggestions on how to get the tank to slide over the rubber o-rings so I can remove the cracked tank and put on the new one? It literally will not move.

On the Z attys with quartz tanks you have to take off the top o ring that holds the top cap on. It is a fatter o ring and the quartz will not slide over it. Even removing the top o ring it is possible to break the quartz tank while taking it off so be careful. I have yet to manage to take a quartz tank off my sidewinder without breaking it.

I love the Zen Gennies though! :)

I have used 2 Z Atty Pros for months without a problem. The the other day I had a heck of a time getting one off, but I did. Then when I was replacing it, it cracked and skinned up the o'ring.
I attribute it to aging o'rings.
I'm going to order some colored ones from Spectrum Tanks - Home. They come with new o'rings.
