Hi All. I have used ecigs on and off for the past 3 years. . I could not break the analog habit and have now decided to jump back into vaping. It seems like quite a lot has changed since last time I researched ecigs and this forum. My old setup was with Smokeless Image. Some small batteries and 900 mah fat ones with clearos. I always had problems with battery life and the clearos in particular bit lasting long, having good vape or flavor, and leaking.

I decided to try the variable voltage and need some suggestions. Most important to me is good vapor clouds, throat hit, ease of use and battery life. I have been looking into Egos, istick, aspire, vision spinners, etc.

Any suggestions??

Get the iStick 30w, best compromise between battery life and size. I have several of the Nautilus and love them, especially with the newest BVC coils. They're easy to use and have good flavor. Great if you like a tighter draw. If you like more airflow the Subtank mini is great also.

One thing I found a little daunting was trying to figure out the tank system and maintainance. I think I will go with a iStick and nautilus. How do you know when to change parts on these very expensive tanks. Ie the nautilus, pro tank, etc

I noticed the Mini gets a little hard to draw and I change mine. I take the old coil, put it in a shot of vodka and every once in a while jiggle it. Let it sit overnight, remove and blow dry, let it sit till dry and it's like new again. Haven't burned up a coil yet.

Edit IStick 50 W and Nautilus Mini.... Love it.

Hi there. You might want to consider a variable WATTAGE device. Most variable wattage devices also adjust the voltage automatically to fit your build. With variable wattage in my opinion you will have more of a option of customazation. You can adjust the wattage to what ever wattage gives YOU the perfect vape. Change the wattage with different juice flavors to suite your taste. Along with wattage, remember most devices will change the voltage to fit. You can get 15 all the way up to 150 watt devices. A good starting place is a device that goes up to about 30 watts. You might also consider a device that allows lower ohm vaping. A lot of newer tanks have lower ohms and they are good for beginners with pre built lower ohm coils. There are so many choices available. I just thought I might bring these things up for you to consider. I do hope this is helpful. Best wishes
