Hello everyone, I start vaping a year ago and stopped but I'm interested in the new stuff. I want to get the kanger rebuildable sub tank plus and the eleaf istick 20-30w but my question is I have heard of these "new" box type batteries blowing up if your not careful and was wondering if this battery was safe or not? Also wanted to get some opinions on the kanger rebuildable sub tank plus.

There have been some mishaps with the iStick 50W, but the problems have supposedly been fixed. If you buy the 50W version, buy direct from Eleaf.

The 20-30W versions haven't had many/any complaints as far as I know. Good devices.

The SubTank's rebuildable section is quite nice.

Ok, I was thinking about going with the mini as well. As far as the "rebuildable part of it", you basically just use the japanese cotton coil stuff and make the coils yourself? I see that the box comes with a coil but is that coil that comes with it ready to use or am I going to have to buy the cotton and make a coil before I can use it? Also, the 30w istick, does that put out a good cloud with the kanger subtank mini?

The coil in the rebuild is ready to go once you've added the cotton. It is a .5 coil. As far as clouds I feel it does, but I am a high pg vaper. You'll want a high vg vape if you're really interested in clouds. I would also suggest looking at the "kuro koiler" (you tube). It's a coiling tool and I have one ordered but not here yet.

Good luck in your vape journey.

You can purchase pre-made coils. You can also make your own.

You should do some research and educate yourself on Ohm's Law calculations and battery safety in general. There are excellent resources here on ECF and on You Tube for guides on coil building.

To your answer about using the Subtank and iStick 30W, yes it can put out a good cloud of vapor.

I have the 30w Istick from eleaf and have had no problems! I've had it for about 4-5 weeks and no doubt still a beginning vaper. From what I hear, read, or experienced, a 30watt is perfect to begin on and gives good variability for everything!

If you don't have either atm i strongy advice you to get a kanger subox kit.
It'll give all you need, except the batteries and a charger. (It'll include the subtank + coils and the new updated RBA DECK)

(20a or higher) i recommend sony vtc4/5 if you can get them. coupled with a nitecore charger or xtar.

Edit: Only the istick 50w is current in the hotspot. Due catching fire or worse.
Not saying it happen to all of you istick owners, just that it can happen.

5 times in a short sucession is enough for me to stay away.

If you get a subox kit + a pair of good batteries such as vtc4/5 (or any other 20A+ battery) and a good charger such as nitecore or xtar.
And you're good to go. :)

Subox is regulated so it'll stop you from all newbie mistakes :) So don't freak out ;)

Other than the occasional Space Jam (great Fruit flavors) or Vigilante Juice Co (Awesome but NOT cheap) or Blood Line Cinna-Boyz (just discovered), I purchase and Vape Mt. Baker exclusively.
Maybe not the best but definitely WAY above the "Average", made to individual Spec & preference, fast shipping, Priced right, Awesome Selection & Variety. Great Flavor IMO.
Big Fan & Client of them.

With their numerous Flavors & Varieties along with being able to Spec to your tastes you should have zero issues finding your ADV as well as others to keep in regular Rotation.
AND at a Price that will smack any local Shop down and keep you stocked up without being broke down.

Yea. How fast do you usually get it after ordering?

MBV ships very fast, surprisingly so since they mix everything to order. However, some of their liquids (many of them, actually) really do need to steep, so either do the crockpot thing, or be patient!

I like a lot of the MBV flavors, but certainly not all of them. Don't buy large bottles until you know what you like!

You also might want to look at ITC Vapes; some very good vapes at MBV prices.
