Getting ready to send my backups for some upgrades

Sending my backups to get the new 510s and get my grand LP'd. For all the Woodvil people, can it be LP'd and should I or should I just rock the RM 2. I'm thinking a bigger atty will look funny raised up with a gap between the atty and mod. If I leave it as is, what other rebuild ables fit well?

I'm going to go for the LP style. Might wanna wait a couple of weeks until Rob has his innards fixed and is back in the saddle.

The cap can, indeed, be LP'ed. As for whether or not you like the look of, say, a 22mm atty overhanging the cup a bit, that's up to you. You could put a fat o-ring around the cup to help fill the empty space.

If you kept the cup as is, there are a number of atties that would fit it. From Rob, there's the RM3, chalice III or IGO-S. Outside options would include the cyclone (non-afc cap), the hornet, the graal, the viper, and the nofear.

Yea I remembered seeing he was having surgery. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to mailing things, unless I'm expecting packages. Plus they are both backups and aren't in service right now so if they have to wait on Rob is not a big deal

Thanks, I may just try an one of those attys. Chalice sounds nice but I'd rather buy another reo for that money haha.

I've thought about sending sending in my Woodvile 18490 for new contacts but it seems to be firing nicely (if it ain't broke.....). Don't think I would consider LPing it though. I sent in my mini 2.1 for new contacts but also held off on the LP (OCD here). Am also happy with the non-LP RM2 and RM3 on it...

When the new lP'd Grands came out, I was very happy to buy one though.
