Hello everyone, I've been doing some pretty intense googling/forum surfing to find some solutions for my problems and all the best info seemed to be coming from here so I decided to make an account.
I started vaping almost two weeks ago ( started on sunday ) with my purchase of an Ego-C Twist 650mah by Joyetech and an Innokin iClear 16. I was very happy wit my purchase save for one issue, the iClear 16 would reliably leak if left horizontal for any period of time longer than a few minutes, so sitting down with it in my front pocket was not an option, and I had to obsessively make sure it was either standing up properly or have it in hand at all times. Obviously this got old. I went back to the b&m shop and was directed to an Aspire ET-S BDC, I like the look of it and this early in the game without any experience that was honestly pretty important to me.
So I traded off the iClear 16's beautiful flavor (from what little experience I have) and consistent vapor for this ET-S which produces flavorless vapor (if not a dry hit) but doesn't leak. I can't even put my Twist past 3.2v with these heads because it tastes burnt immediately, unless I vacuum power inhale which gives me no flavor and is obviously not an ejoyable or relaxing way to vape.
I have 4 fresh heads left for this clearo and none for the 16, I guess what I'm looking for is some advice as I really like that this tank doesn't leak and have put enough cash into it that i don't want to write it off.
Is this ET-S a lost cause?
Has anyone had these issues and figured out how to fix it?
*also, i noticed in these heads by pulling them open that the metal casing around the coils seems very much like it was drilled upside down, the holes are closer to the bottom but because of the way the coils are set up the wick from the top coil lines up with the juice holes in the head but the bottom coil that is at the depth of the holes runs perpendicular to them. ??? thanks for the vent lol
**I read about drilling bigger airholes in the tank but I'm nervous that it'll make something worse
