Getting started with eGo maniac kit....

Well my eGo maniac kit that I ordered from goodprophets should be here tomorrow This will be my first 3-piece PV so I'm a little nervous about screwing something up. I currently have been using a KR808 system, so this will be my first time working with a seperate atomizer. Just wondering if there are any special things I should do with my kit before I jump right in? Just looking for some simple tips/tricks that will help me get started on the right foot. Along with the kit I also ordered some LR attty's and some more blank 510 cartidges. Thanks ahead of time for the help. Can't wait for my mailman to get here in the morning!!

I think you've made a great choice.

Ego doesn't necessarily has to be 3-piece system - there are 510 cartomizers with different resistance to satisfy different needs and cravings. I like most 2.0ohm cartomizers sold by LiteCig and Nhaler.

In case with atomizers you will have to "brake the primer" on them. Just drop 3-4 drops of juice directly on the atty bridge (drip tip could help) and make 10-15 drugs (for LR you may have to drop another 1-2 drops) without inhaling vapor - the primer tastes disgusting.

Important: LR attys always must be wet - they are easy to burn! Most of the people I know using LR attys with drip tip only.

Try your old 808 cartos on your Ego (need an adapter) - you may find their flavor/TH much better.

first, i'm loving my eGo and think you made a great choice. i've found that when i get a new atty, especially a new LR, i've had the best luck with them if i blow out the primer before i add 3 drops of juice. the primer is mostly there for shelf life. once you get them, it's cool to blow them out. KEEP THE ATTY WET!!! be careful about over-flooding, but they run a little warm so keep it wet. cartos are cool when you're driving, but on the 510 LR, get a drip tip. Happy vaping!!!

Thanks for the responses everyone! I got my kit this morning and so far I'm LOVING it!!! Crazy vapor production compared to my KR808!

Another quick question. If I fill two seperate carts with 2 different flavors, can I use the same atomizer or should I have a seperate atomizer for each flavor I'm using?

Most of the time it takes around 10 hits for the new flavor to settle in. Some flavors can take much longer.

Thanks for the help everyone! I am completely BLOWN AWAY with the vapor production from the eGo! Now I can't wait for Monday to get here as I have a V4L order coming with a couple bottles of juice. Right now I am stuck with only 2 flavors, RY4 and a free sample bottle of USA-MIX that I got with my order from goodprophets.

And you guys are right, the primer on the new atty's tastes HORRIBLE!
