I haven’t visited this section of the forum for awhile…Nice to see the vapor community still growing…I see some of the new folks getting ready to take the plunge and planning on going the eGo tank system…After following the longggggg tank thread in another section….along with having tried the system myself…I wonder if anyone else thinks that starting with the ego tank alone might not be such a good idea….

I’m not here to bash the eGo T systems…There seems to be quite a few of us that are extremely satisfied with them…I was too…for about a week…But it also seems there are quite a few folks that have given up on them..for now anyway…

All a know is after 5 months of being analog free…if not for my trusty 510 cartos in reserve..I’d have been back to smoking for a few days until I could score some….. I’ve tried enough different stuff that my disappointment with the tank wasn’t a big deal…or a surprise for that matter…It did make me wonder though about how I would have handled it as a new vapor…

My only advice to those getting ready to take the plunge is to plan ahead…If you’re going to start with some of the "newer" stuff out there…think about getting one of the "older" basic setups to go along with it…It’s OK to be disappointed…Just be prepared..

I nearly gave up on mine, but with a new atty and light-colored, fruity-flavored juices I've come to love it. It's replaced the kr8 PTs I was using.

I see nothing wrong with starting with a tank, but it's great advice to pick up some "traditional" atomizers/cartridges and/or cartomizers to go along with it. The eGo battery is a good starting point, as it gives you so many options -- 510/306/mega atties for dripping or cartridges, cartomizers, tanks, etc.

Great thread here. :)

I picked up both a tank and a standard 510 to start out with. I LOVE the tank system - it tastes better, and is easier to use. I actually picked one up for my mother as well (a 30+ year pack a day smoker) and she's cutting way back with it as well.

I keep the 510 on hand and ready because (to me anyway) its a little harsher, and feels more like a cig. I have the carts filled with 18mg juice, and may step it up to 24mg because the hardest hurdle to get over for me is that morning smoke, and the 18mg tank just doesn't do it. Having a second set, and a spare, is a small investment compared to how much better off we'll all be once we're done with BOTH analogs and vaping! :)
