Hello everyone.

After a few hours of research, I guess I'm in the same position as many of you were after you had done your homework but before you made the switch.

At this point, I know which models/vendors to avoid for being overpriced or short on quality. I also have a basic understanding of the mods that are available.

But as for most of the specific details, there really isn't much I can learn by reading message boards. Much of a person's needs in a PV is based on personal choice and their specific circumstances, neither of which are well-suited to forum based recommendations.

At this point, I think I simply need to place an order and begin the next stage of the learning process. There is no way to know for certain what will work for me until I actually begin using the product and can determine what works well and where I might seek improvement.

I'm leaning towards ordering two of the basic 510 sets, a USB passthrough adapter, spare cartridges, and a few varieties of e-liquid.

Is there any obvious problems with this plan, or any tips for 510 novices I should keep in mind before placing the order? I want to get my first order complete and from one store to save on the shipping.

I have noticed several reports of stores selling knockoff 510s or 510 clones. Is there any list of trusted merchants? I have seen a few suppliers offering L2 510s or Titan 510s, but I don't know if these are the genuine article or a cheap clone inclined towards breakage.

Last week. One for a friend, the other for my Son. I ordered these based on other's recommendations, as I wanted to get them started but didnt' want to spend $100+ each. $40 shipped for the kit, and ordered an extra pack blank carts. That gave them 2 batt's, 2 atty's, charger.

Then ordered 3 10ML flavors from Ms T's, (Unbelievable flavor choices there)...

My friend called me today, as he was vaping while coming home from the post office (Very happy with his early Xmas present)....

Good luck in your efforts to quit analogs!

The JOYE 510 is a popular PV starter kit. Your plan is logical and reasonable.

The Passthrough is nice if you spend a lot of time at the computer. If not, you might consider a PCC instead. This works well if you are on the move ... great way to keep your batteries charged while on the go.

Welcome to the forum and good luck on your vaping journey !!
