For supplies for the first time DYI'er read my blog related to supplies

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ow-far-supplies-safety-first-time-juicer.html

Then read these blogs

Read my blogs before getting started

E-Cigarette Forum - dannyv45 - Blogs

then read hoosier's blogs.

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.

That looks like everything you will need, but there may be a few things you might want, depending how you will proceed and your budget.
  • Glass bottles (you did not say if the ones you are getting are plastic or glass). You may want some glass for speed steeping with heat. Read Dannyv45's blog and some of the UC and crockpot threads to see why you might want to do that. Also, if you buy a large quantity of nicotine base, you may want to freeze some if you will not use it up in a few months.
  • You will want to keep a journal to document each of your mixes, so you can repeat your successes and not repeat any failures. If you are a pen and paper type of person, get a notebook and dedicate it for this purpose. You can also do it on your computer, so think about how you will organize it if you go that route.
  • Download one or more of the e-juice calculators and do some practice recipes with it to see how it works, unless you have good chemistry training and enjoy math. Even then, backing up your calcs with a dedicated application is not a bad idea.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE): some disposable rubber gloves and eye protection are recommended, and an apron would not be a bad thing to have.
