I decided to have another go at tc, my mod is the ljoy genie using two 20700 batts,my tank is the advken manta using dual ss316 flatwire and at 0.1 ohm, vaping at 55 watts on power mode.
So I go into the menu and flick it to tc and the lowest setting in Fahrenheit or centigrade nearly blew my head off, I realized that the original power settings were to high and lowered the settings to 20 watts and saved then back to tc, yes I'm getting a decent vape now just above the lowest tc settings in Fahrenheit.
One thing I noticed is my ohms reading jumped from 0.1 to 0.17 in tc.
Guess I've got a lot more research to do before I nail this thing.
Back to power mode for now because to be honest I've not got a clue but the vape eventually was smooth.
I'll read some more to try to understand how it all works.

The difference in resistance sounds a bit odd. One key thing for TC is making sure you set your resistance when the coil's at room temperature. If your coil was still hot from the earlier misadventure when you switched back to TC, it might have read 0.17 ohms rather than 0.1 ohms. That would really throw off your temperature settings.

Something you might try is to use a Build with a little more Resistance. Some Mods struggle to do things right when you start to Approach the Limits of their capabilities.

Remember, these Mods aren't High End Digital Multi-Meters. They're mass produce e-Cigarettes where keeping costs below a Marketing Baseline is a Higher Priority than Significant Precision and Accuracy.
