Getting used to primer puffs

Primer puffs is a long story dating back to my KR808D usage. But lately I find myself taking one or two smaller puffs before the big one. Should pose no problem except for the fact that I'm running down my two Twist 650 and mini 400 too fast. And with a 2.4/2.6 ohm head, they should last me at least 4 hours each. Do you take primer puffs? How long do your batteries last?

They were almost necessary with the 808 automatic batteries but I never liked them much. With a manual I will hit the button a 1/2 second before taking a puff.

The old primer puff. I didn't think anyone did that anymore. My batteries last 18 - 21 hours of heavy vaping.

Primer puffs are only for automatic batteries.

It's one of the main reason nobody really uses them around here.
But there are also other reasons not to use them as well.

I think he/she means primer puffs in the sense that you might have to take a few hits before you get a 'good' hit. For people that got the ego-T when they first came out- same thing.

Me? just a regular one. I'm planning on buying a screw on mod voltmeter...
