Soo, can't GG slim take 14500? Anyone tired?

I don't own a slim, but it would be my guess that it can not...

it takes a 10440 which is the equivalent size of a AAA battery
a 14500 is the equivalent size of a AA battery (I would guess about twice the diameter of a 10440,,, I am too lazy to whip out my batts and caliper :p )

If you want a high capacity battery that isn't as large as an 18650 then it's worth trying the 18500, they last quite a bit longer than the 14500 and fit in a GGTS.

Too fat to fit in a mod designed just to fit a 14500 though.

Yes I use that size when I want to use my TS at 3.7v. AW makes both a protected version as well as a High Drain battery. They both are well worth the few extra bucks IMHO....

Yup, I agree. The AW 14500 seems to be the best I have used. I also prefer 14500's over 10440(AAAsize) batteries. The 14500s seem to last and hold up way better then the smaller 10440 bats. But yeah, overall AW puts out some great batteries....and there high-drain ones are very nice.
