nice review Clyde, spot on!! Yes the dripping days are behind us. I received mine today and can't put it down, it is very special. vaping with the i-6 on 6volts is bliss my friend!!!

The versatility of the mod, especially with the ggts, is one of the things that appeals to me. 3.7 or HV, no problem. If imeo can make more attys to go with it, that would exponentially increase its usefulness.

There will be an update soon were all 901's can be used and maybe 510's :D

exellent review clyde and I am happy that you are happy with AFS but you dont use GGTS? If you just like to change mods only to see what is on the market its ok but did you had any problems with GGTS? I remembered that your gradation for GGTS was 9,5 to 10. Is there something better outside? If yes please tell me and I will make GGTS even better!!

I think he's referring to the juice box mods which, while presumably functionally-adequate, are ugly as sin... hence my anxious anticipation for the all atty AFS :)

I see MHR.
Yes, juice boxes are easy to be made. Plastic boxes with wires for connections and with a squeeze bottle. I suppose you know that I cant make things this way:)
Dont worry at all, AFS update for all 901 atomizers will come in 1,5 month. We are very near. I also hope that you already know that the current AFS is made for future 801 and 510 use. We will change only the brass connector and 2 o-rings and it will fit any atomizer. I just want to make the proper holes on those atomizers:)

What I love about you, Imeo, is your ceaseless drive for perfection. I played with a few 3rd gen boxes before trying the AFS so I could have something to compare them to.

Some folks would think of this as defensive, but I know it's your all consuming dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction.

It's not like I even thought about selling them. Not for a second. For you, that would be tantamount to pi$$ing on the Pantheon.8-o

Rob at VK informed me juice in the mouth is remedied by putting the two top pieces on individually instead of as one piece as I had been doing previously.

There's an initial wet vape, but only one. And at least I'm not having to spit into a napkin for the first four or five drags. Excellent.

New mouthpiece will stop liquid come to your mouth clyde. The things you have to do are:

1 buy this mouthpiece
2 screw the cap slowly after refilling the tank
3 put off the o-ring of the small cap
4 put off the o-ring of the big cap until or buy a 17/1 o-ring.

After those moves AFS will work in the way you always wanted and maybe there is no need to take false inhales at all:):)

Couple of follow up questions, Imeo...

1. Will the i3 and i6 ioatties currently on sale on the vaporkings website work on the afs?

2. You're probably still working on the final design up there in your workshop on Mt. Olympus, but what would be the difference between the all mods and the upcoming ggts AFSes?

Thanks.

BTW, I'm guessing that the all mods version may end up creating an 'iPod halo effect' for GG products.

My question, mostly for Rob and Lisa, is how many GG virgins have bought the AFS?

I seem to remember people who weren't gg owners buying the v1 off of people in the forums, so I don't think my supposition is too out of line.

IMEO Why do we need to pull off the o-ring from the big cap?
When you say replace it with a 17/1 is that a 17mm inner diameter and a 1mm thickness?

Does this have to be done before using the new mouthpiece?

You need to pull off the o-ring from the big cap only if you have leakage issues friend, because this o-ring is a slightly bigger than the proper one and sometimes it makes a belly when you screw the big cap on the tank. If you are ok dont remove it. And yes the o-ring we need is exactly what you said:)

Was having the seepage issue (not really enough fluid loss to call it a leak), so I replaced the top and bottom o rings iaw vapanaway's instructions.

Seepage stopped completely. Good.

BUT...would removing the o rings effect how the AFS vapes? It seems that the flavors on what I'm vaping have been enhanced since the procedure. I could taste them before, but they seem to be more pronounced now. :vapor::headbang: It's also...wetter. I'm vaping some 80/20 cinnamon from vaporrenu and I can almost taste it on my tongue, like I'm actually eating a piece of cinnamon candy. I'm also getting more vapes per mg (vpm) out of my pg, and I don't think that it's all the result of stopping the seepage.

I'd almost think it's a placebo effect, but if the o rings can change the airflow enough to cause or correct seepage, they may effect the vaping qualities of the AFS in other ways.

Or, I've lost my flippin' mind.
