How to video on how to make a .8 Dual Coil for the lovely Penelope.


Parts needed:
2 and 1/2 inches of 32 gauge kanthal wire cut in half
4 inches of pure silver wire cut in half
1 tweezers or pliers.
2 inches of 3.5 wick


1 18650 AW IMR battery 3.7 Volts

Hey Bishop,

Only question I have is this: Is the wick that comes with the Penelope 3.0mm or 3.5mm? And if it's 3.0mm, do you need to remove and strands?

The wick that comes with Penelope is the same ce2 wick which is so thin. You can try and not remove any strand and see if you get the three loops which will make 6 coils. if you are able to make the 6 coils or 8 then your good. If you cant make min 6 coils then you need to remove a strand and try again. Key note keep the wires separated as best as you can as you loop the coil. Applying to much pressure will result in narrowing the two resistance wire then you will need a tweezers to separate the wires. You will be fine if you do it slowly and patiently. Have yourself some toots as you do it.

I usually just work on getting my coil wrapped and then go back and separate the coils after I have my Ody half way assembled. Just easier for my big ole fat fingers to hold onto things that way. Once I get em nice and separated it's vaping like a king time

My Man that was a great Video. I may have to try one of them there dual coil wraps for my Ody when it gets here. It has the V2 ceramic and housing so I should be good to go with making one. That way I can do my vaping in pure bliss without the kick. Right now to get the vape I like I have to use a kick in my SS GGTS, I would like to get away from doing that and only use one battery and no Kick.

If its truly single coil then it will fire using Provari V2 @ get this 2.9 volts when its cold. you may be able to push it to 3.0-3.1volts.

As for Dual coil Privari wont put out that those ohms. ONLY GGTS GG GOD's GIFT PM the Prophet IMEO Im sure he'll bestow some vaping power for you.

I just put a kick in GGTS and I like it a lot. Just hate the battery life. If I wanna get any hotter on my Vape (occasional) I just go 36g nichrome a Bishopheals triple wick and stack batteries. Those dual coils can sing like that but I like to wrap em with a bit more resistance

Thanks bishop for thought...dropping volts as I only dropped to about 3.3 or so and kept give "E1"...It smokes like a beast on my rev 1.I had just posted that cause i finally figured out that 30g will give me more wraps (only 3)and same resistance.

Just a heads up guys if you liek the results of this video and you have already used it and like get ready for the ultimate explosion of vapes.

Your paying attention ITS the Absolute Bomb of dual coils. I finally was able to compare Mano's Dual coil build with mine and his far out is 10 times higher in heat and vape than mine. His dual coil to master takes time. I'm still working on it but I can tell you when its done right you can certainly taste and feel the difference and its like night and day vs my build. I would like to give him credit for even taking the time to record a video for me to go over some details.

Im goign to ask him if its ok I can do another vid on penelope with his method and include his vid as well. I just have to wait till he gets back to me.

Ummm WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just built a Dual Coil and it Ohmed out at 0.9 Ohms as soon as I connected it and checked it with the volts meter and lemme tell ya, no Kick, No Stacked Batteries, Just Pure Lung Blasting Flavor and a Fog Bank the size of Texas!!! Whoa!! Massive Improvement to the single coil at 1.8-1.9 ohms. I got 4 wraps and no touching wires after a little minor adjusting with my pointy surgical tweezers to get them spaced out just right on the wick This Ody is Flyin in Style now with an 18650, a 0.9 Ohm Dual Coil and perfectly trimmed double wick!!!

Im going to do another revised version of this video because Manos and I got together earlier tonight and he showed me a few things that made even better. After vaping for a few hours I dont know what possessed me but I did 4 batteries of 18650s with .9 ohms ody dual coil his style.

HOLY SHT you want to talk about vape clouds. Sht Did over 100 watts of vape power. We were trying to record it but the only thing that recorded was the audio damn video didnt record. FIrst time in skype next time Ill make sure it records video.

You aint kidding i reduced from 24mg to 18mg and now I'm looking for something like 12mg.

the problem is that i ahve so much juice but they at 24mg which i dont even use anymore. At the moment I'm going to try to get some ejuice low nic levels to be able to withstand over 100 watts.

I have to look up how to dilute some of that nic maybe adding more vg to the mix.

The VG will dilute your 24mg juice, but it may also effect the flavor and decrease it as well. The really nice part about this low ohm coil is that it really really boosted the tastes of my favorite juices so diliting some of my higher nic juices should not be too big a problem because the flavor should still be plenty strong enough. I DIY a lot too so I can reduce the nic in a lot of my juices very easily.

I may not want to dilute the taste of the juice. I may just end up selling them on classifieds. let someone else enjoy them with full taste than me dimming it down because of nic.
