"I just noticed your the owner of the GG Owners group, unfortunately we made some rules changes a little bit back that suppliers and associates cannot be the owners of groups (they can be members). It's nothing against you, it's just a safety measure on our side and to keep the value of being a FS intact (otherwise RS could use just groups as their forum).

I'm not sure how active the group is, but it has a lot of members, as soon as you get a chance could you elect a new head for it? You should be able to transfer it to whomever you wish (just not an SA), or let me know and I can transfer it for you."

So is there anyone that wants to be a head for it?

Maybe we should vote - I'm sure that many of us would like to do it but this should be offered to some of your long term GG fans. Right of 1st refusal should go to Capt, Zoranth, DSpin etc. JMHO. If noone else will do it would love to be of help If I missed a few of you long time GG supporters no offense is intended.

I dont have an issue with ecf on the second one because I didnt started. But I started the first group. ecf doesnt allow manufacturers to own a group they made so someone else has to be the head of this group.

Thanks Capt. but my opinion is Para, B-Rad or Bugg. Not to sound bad but those three know more than most and have been around alot longer.

Ever been a member of some group and show up for a meeting and they are doing voting for officers that night... Suddenly you are nominated for treasurer and though you don't wish to do this (for whatever reason) you can't bring yourself to decline... So now you are a treasurer? I have.

I would nominate Dspin or Para, but I realize that sometimes people don't wish to take on things, so they should have an opportunity to decline nominations. So once a few come fwd offering to do it, Imeo should just pick one, or hold a vote.

I spend enough time here that I could do it. So I will volunteer my help to manage the group for Imeo. However, I still think it should go to someone that is a die hard GG through and through fan (which I am, but only for little over year when I got my first GG from Para).

Well said, Jolly. I am too new to even think about running a group but will be glad to offer my help to any of the people who are nominated.

running a group is not something special guys. I for example havent run this group in reality. I opened it and I didnt follow it even if it has a lot of members. I just have no time. So even if someone is the head of the group and doesnt want to spend time with it its not a problem. If he has the time then it would be better. The thing is that group needs a head, thats all guys

I vote Dspin or CaptSteve. But if neither of them want the job, I'd be happy to do it. God knows I spend enough time on the forum to help moderate and organize everything there.
