Being the curious creature that I am, I'm wondering what is your favorite combo volts/attys with the GG.

I'm using 6 volts with both the 901 and 510 attys.

I have the SLB 901 attys from ruyandirect.com. Some great - some not so great. The ones that are great are REALLY GREAT with the GG.

No dead 510 attys yet. I have the 510 attys from eastmall.net.

I use the 901 atty when I want to kick it up a notch with the warmth and throat hit.

Mostly I use the 510 atty though for a smoother vape - so it's my favorite.

Well i still need to try your 510 set up but it's the Diva thats doing it for me right now.
But if you ask me it's to much cash(even with the 5 year warr)and it takes like 15 days to get them replaced and for the price to ship back you can get a 901 att.
It was my first, thanks to leaford lol.
When i get it back i'll send it to you to try(send it back to them for me if you burn it out lol)it likes to run wet.
Only 5 inhales than drip or pop!

Ok I finally voted: 510 & 6V.
I got my Totally Wicked Titan atties & round cartridges.
That's just perfect now.
A bit smoother taste than with 901. Lots of smoke. More room for liquid.
So in the end:
510 > 901 > 801 for me (901 being really good too).

PS Ike: it's true the "never a burnt taste again" with the 510. I tried to get a burnt taste and vaped strongly till I emptied all the liquid. Result was the atty died before I could get any burnt taste lol.

@Fred - how long are your usual vapes, and duration between them?
I am trying to lower both vaping and nicotine atm so I use my device less and less.
I wish I can put in my sig at some point: 'generic model x allowed me to stop tobacco and GG allowed me to stop nicotine'.

Back to the question, I try not to do more than 3 puffs before letting the atty rest a bit (minimum 15secs but I don't vape for more than 3 cycles like that in a row). I stopped inhaling the smoke nearly completely (the nicotine goes mainly to the blood through the mouth/nose/throat anyway with an e-cig).
One puff is usually 2 seconds only like that.

I top off my cartridges a lot and use a syringe for the initial filling.
The last 510 atty just refused to work this morning.
Maybe I should clean all my atties and let them dry... maybe they aren't really dead but drowned.

I'm back to the 901 6V for now. TW 510 atties tend to die too fast at that voltage apparently.

Fred - I have been using 510 attys from eastmall.net and have not lost any with using the GG at 6 volts.

I've been alternating 2 of them this last 2 weeks and they're both working great!

I had the same problem than you with your previous 510 atties in fact: the ones you told that let the liquid go down to the adapter and made a shortcut.
I noticed liquid on the adapter at some point and I pay more attention now:
it's all ok with my third 510 atty so and I'll switch to your eastmall.net ones after to avoid such problems without having to be 200% careful all the time.
Back to the 510 @ 6V weeee :)

This is my first time posting in the GG forum, so please go easy on me...

Over time, my preferences have evolved, and now I find that I want the vaping experience provided by a 5V/6V device, but I want something closer to the size of my regular 901.

If necessary to achieve something like this, I would be glad to regularly change out *quality* (akin to the quality of the Tenergy batteries used in the Prodigy) batteries regularly.

If there was a PV that was the size of the regular DSE 901, but delivered the 5V/6V vaping experience, I would gladly pay a lot for it.

How close could Nico's team get to something like this?

The closest to that would be a GG Grant with the original 901 and I can understand you as I like those atties too.

But to have 5V/6V and the size of an original 901 with the current batteries on the market (two CR2s or two CR123As) it's just not possible unless you use a generic passthrough (without intermediary 3,7V battery) and vape through USB-PC at 5V/500mAh.
Or USB to wall socket converter, kensington battery pack, ... (up to 5V/1Ah)
