GG website problems??

I clicked on the link at the top of the forum here and got a malicious software/dangerous page warning

You won't see this message unless you use Trend Micro security.

I don't use it either - I hate TM, but a LOT of people do use it. And it does look like TM has flagged GGECIG.COM as dangerous. You can see for yourself, by going to Trend Micro Site Safety Center

It doesn't give any details about the reason for this block, but TM has had a history of false positives that have given a lot of legitimate businesses a lot of headaches. You may want to contact Trend Micro directly to inquire as to why this block was put in place Imeo.

I do disagree....it is just more annoying, but catches everything that is thrown my laptops way!

norton catches everything thrown at my laptop..... but no ANNOYING false positives.... false positives= wasted time and missing out on great sites like "THE GG"

Our Corporate software blocks is under "adult and pornography" of all things. First time I over rode the thing (I got admin priv), my CIO nearly broke down my office door because he thought i had breached security. Funny thing is he works for me and what he really wanted to see was what in the heck I was looking at because it blipped on his screen
