Lady and gentlemen,

I thank all three of you for responding to my inquiry and providing me with information about the flexibility and durability of this product. I suppose "product" is really not a fair name for something that was designed with such care to aesthetics and function. Likewise, the only other mechanically switched ecig, that I know of, which offers more than one battery option (3.7 and 6V) seems to be 4-6 weeks out for shipping.

I guess all I can ask for is a status update as to when this might arrive at VK's in the US.

Dear Imeo,

Thank you for the link that spells out what makes your designs distinct.

The latest models on the scene reminded me of another famous race to get new product to market, the Beaujolais nouveau race by boat. Of course, it was done for marketing reasons and everyone who brought the stuff over to US really won.

Without mentioning the competition, by name--in your forum--each of the other two contenders have real things in their favor too. In one case, price. In another case nice build and slimmer by 6 mm than the GGT Storm. However, yours offers high quality and many choices for configuration. The AFS is perhaps the most interesting option. If it works as advertised, it should save a lot of liquid, mess, and time. That alone is worth $80. The fact that you bother to make your atomizers shows a certain obsession about the quality of your users experience.

The real question then is, realistically, when can I get one?I am bored with 3.7 V vaping with a AAA. Perhaps if I had gotten a VP2 instead of the slimmer VP51, I might be less anxious about making a change to a big model. That's because I am tired of changing little batteries.

I expect them to be in the US in the next couple of weeks. I hope to be corrected if I am wrong. We are all excited to get one. I have the Grant and the transformer and I love them both but I am still excited to get the GGT Storm.:thumbs::thumbs:

I suggest you to buy GGTS when it will released, its the best by far des, you will see at your own. As for my competitors and their options, I will tell you something because you have to know.
1) Ideas are all mine so they are not real competitors
2) I dont know for what mod you are talking about but if its 6mm smaller it means that it cant take all batteries like 18650 so how can we compare those 2 things? They are apples and oranges:):)
3) The AFS is really nice but isnt the 4 in 1 connector nice too? Are the HV atomizers one of the best things? Isnt the mechanical cig a great thought? Or the telescope? I dont mention other things, because all people including you, you know them already:)

Thanks for your very kind post, I really apreciate it and I want you to have a GGTS soon so you will be able to see the big diference:thumbs:

Dear Imeo,

I wish everyone else in the world answered back as efficiently as you do. I apologize for not mentioning all the features that set the GGTS apart in my last post, but as you said, most are known by now. Although I didn't know that you could stick AAA LI's in their until you mentioned it to me. I don't think I would want to, but you never know where I might be and what I can get there.

Anyway, I was trying to get through all this while avoiding naming other current products. However, the 17 mm diameter model I was speaking of was the Super T. It cannot take all the combinations of batteries, but at least offers two configurations 3.7 and 6. Likewise, it does not offer more than one atomizer adapter built in, while yours is sort of like a universal adapter for many. His adapters are $50 by the way. So playing around with that can get expensive.

Do you think that I might be able to get on of these in the next week or so? I don't need a specific day, but I am even more interested in seeing this thing in person.

I have a friend who wants to set up a vapers club that would meet once a week or something, here on Cape Ann. It's amazing how fast this is all happening.

Best,

Deslock

I plan on getting a GGT pretty soon myself infact its next on the list to add to my growing collection of high end PV's but as cool as it is the other you mention IMO is in a league of its own as well and am wondering why you feel the need to call them out? I find it moot and just pointless.

After reading those posts I assume you are comparing the Super T to the Grant which goes for $150 and has the option to go 3.7v 6v and 7.2v(two 3.6v CR2). The Grant was the first really high end PV on the market and still remains one of my favorite devices. It's small and elegant looking. With the gold caps it looks more like a nice piece of jewelery than an e-cig.

Thanks again Des for your very kind words my good friend. I also have to say that if you are talking about supert, then if it is 17mm then it takes only cr2 batteries and not even cr123A. If it took 18650 then it would be like GGTS. There is no other way to make a slimmer cig exept you broke the safe point and make a thin cig that will brake in any chance.

About SS now. Its not impossible for me to have those cigs in 2 weeks. I just want to finish the GGTS production and shipping to my people first and then to start the SS.:)

Yes things are going fast. I am driving things like crazy too as you see. I like this, I cant make something new once a year xaxaxa

I wish a very good luck to your friend with the forum and to you to what ever you try:thumbs:

I thank all those who replied to my posts.

Derek, The reason that I have been asking questions and mentioning differences is that I was trying to reach a personal decision for my first high end PV, balancing performance and options with size and to a certain degree, price. Did I mention availability earlier? I have a tendency to find out about a product right from or close to the source, and I feel like I have a much better idea now than when I began. I would like to own several too, but I had to make a choice on where to begin. Asking questions here and from other makers and vendors has shaped that choice.

Vapnway, by not mentioning the exact models that I was considering in my previous post I caused you confusion. I was considering the upcoming Storm for what it can do versus the also upcoming Super Six for its more slender build, understanding that at 6V it cannot use the same battery set as the Storm. Thank you for uploading that nice photo of the Grant. It is very tempting to look at. Brass caps definitely do look good and GG in general is the best looking line of PV's I have seen.

Finally, let me express my gratitude to Imeo for his help. I have taken enough time and space in this forum for a while, although I hope not too much.

For certain reasons that I will not go into now, I will be changing my account name, probably to North Shore if it is not taken.

So, I wish you all a happy new year. There is no need to spend any more thought on me and my indecision. Here is a nice and appropriate photo of mine for you all.

A

I totally agree!

The GG Grant is so far the most beautiful, versatile and unchallenged PV.

I have many PVs, but recently, I mainly only get out with me, 2 of them:

1- The Golden Slim, because it's so so small and discrete, beautiful and stylish.

2- The Grant, because although it has a small size, it's sexy and it can vape at 3.7V 6V and 7.2V. I think that it is so far the smallest high voltage PV on the market....Not to mention its beauty. That Grant is wonderful. Simply amazing!

If only it just had a multi-atomizer fitting cap, like the next generation ultimate PV...the long awaited GGTS!

And nice picture Vapn!

Mist, I think that only 3 devices will stay on market as I see it. A slim one like Slim, a super slim for 7,2 volts and something very special like GGTS that has all options in one device. What do you think?

I think you should KEEP making the Grant. What a nice little device it is. I use mine quite often. I was not a fan of 6v vaping until you sent me the Grant. I got to try the CR2 for the first time as soon as I pulled it from the package as you left me a surprise inside... two CR2s.... Your mistake my gain... hahahha... thanks again for making such a nice device. It will remain our collection forever....
