Imeo,

How about a native 510 & a native 801 Top cap for the GGTB, for all of us that use these Atty's and are not fans of your 901. The cheap adapters do not work well on the GGTB and these caps are needed for all of us who enjoy the 510/801 Atty's. Does anyone else think this would be a nice option ?

My GGTB is waiting to be delivered from my local post office, along with a Slim. I was never a 901 fan, but part of that was probably because I was using the things on an adapter from an base 801. This adds way too much air flow. I would like to know when the dedicated tops for 801 and 510 might become available. Imeo?

will the afs v2 fit the ggtb if not.Is there 1 that will fit if not WHY not. lol

yes the afsv2 will fit the GGTB, but it has been replaced by the afsv3, which will also fit the GGTB and should be available to purchase sometime next week. the GGTB will also have avs system specifically designed for it, which should be out in about a month or so.

I thought that the afsv3 is the first of it's kind to fit on any other mod than GGTS?

I've NEVER liked 901s. They just don't do it for me. The only reason I haven't purchased a GGTB is that it's 901 specific. Looking forward to a 510 GGTB.

That's the main reason I haven't bought a GGTB, I don't mind 901's that much, but I prefer 510's and 510 threaded atomisers like the 306.

The cheap adapters do not work well on the GGTB

....and the more expensive adapters can be a problem as well. I've not seen a single adapter that has decent gaskets. The cheaper the design, the thinner and more fragile the gasket. I just had an adapter short out a battery and fry the spring on my GGTB. Looking at it, it appears to be fine. However, when attached, the gasket splits and the +/- make contact.

Anyone using adapters should always attach the atty to the adapter, check for continuity, and then attach both to the PV. This way you prevent a short and insure the best air draw. Whatever the new caps cost, it will be well worth it to get them as opposed to using adapters.

Parallex2,

This same thing has been happening to me and I have almost had my GGTB go Boom because of this issue, it is only safe to run 901 Atty's on this mod in my opinion and I'm just not a fan of the 901 accept an LR901 once in a while. Imeo we really need native 801 & 510 adapters for the GGTB & ALL OF YOUR MODS, just a suggestion but from now on when you produce a new mod can you produce all 3 top caps for them, this would allow ALL USERS of 510/901/801 to not only buy your mods but switch Atty's as well with out having to use these cheap $3 adapters, it's like putting a Ford part on a Ferrari. !!!

GGTS has 510 connector already mwa, and slim will come with ego-510 connector too. GGTB will follow

Ya OK Imeo, but the thing is you keep updating everything so people have to keep buying and paying extra for all these updates, I want to buy a mod once, pay once, and have it run with a 510/901/801 I cant stand all these updates its just crazy, make it all the first time then release it. It is better to wait and buy your last released mods instead of the first released Mod, simply because your later released mods are always better then the first release, from now on I am waiting till the final release to buy, all the people that buy early end up having to buy update, update, update,,, this isn't normal,,, all I'm asking is when you put out a Mod make your own native connections for all three Atty's and either sell these connectors with the Mod or make them optional
