GGTS-AFS serial numbers

Vapnaway suggested a GG logo on the AFS. Why not also a serial number on the AFS that will be produced later for the GGTS?

This way, we could have a GGTS, with a matching AFS number

But I will not say whether I prefer a shiny AFS or one with lines

I think that you are right Mist!!

From now on all GG products will have logo and serial too

Imeo I would rather have the serial # in a hidden spot , like under the cap etc I just think the serial number just messes up the beauty of the GG

How do you suggest we get the matching number for our TS Mist? I think Lisa and Rob would object to trying to match up numbers for people. That would be a nightmare I would think. But yes a serial number on all GG products is a good idea for sure. They do need to be proper serial numbers though. For example my number should have been something like TS0003 and also in a hidden place as Tommygun suggested is my thought also. Under the cap is a good location. People see my number 3 and think it has something to do with the model number.
The AFS should say "The GG AFS" and the one for the TS should be simply the wings level when the GG is standing on it's end. That is just my $0.02....

I think that matching AFS serials with GGTS serials will be a nightmare. What about those people that have a GGTS but will not buy AFS? Or buy it 6 months later? Or those that want two AFS but have only one GGTS? Or have two GGTS and want only one AFS? E.t.c. Nightmare.

Yes I agree Vapn, there might be a serious organizational issue to match the numbers. I thought first that each member who acquired a GGTS might specify his serial number when ordering his GGTS-AFS, and that a GGTS owner will naturally order the GGTS-AFS from the same website where he ordered earlier his GGTS. Then I remembered that first units were sold directly by Imeo. Then there is a probability that GGTS has changed hands. Then the more I thought about it the more it got complicated in my mind, then I reached a point when I thought that the matching business would only be applied whenever possible only, then I thought what the hell, we want to have fun and enjoy vaping not complicate our lives...

OMG, no matching up of serials, no way.....
Running a business with so many small bits and pieces and individual requests is hard enough as it is without giving ourselves another set of problems.

Hidden serials on the AFS would be a good idea in theory, however, I can imagine that it would add a fair bit to the price because the laser guy would in effect be lasering another separate work-piece and so the cost would instantly double wouldn't it? I think this AFS is already going to be a bit more costly than the original ones, purely because it has so many more features than before and was a lot harder to design and more costly to manufacture.

We want to get this out to as many people as possible to stop this damn carts and dripping business and I don't think we want to push the price up any more in case we deter people who could really benefit from it, right?

In my opinion,I don't see the point to been a seemless s/n inside the AFS...I guess that the cost will rising without serious reason

I also think this is a great idea, Imeo! I think the AFS would look super with a GG logo and serial.

All tho, I think matching up the serial number with the GGTS serial number would prolly be too much. So I think most of us would understand that and take whatever serial number we get..Even if it doesnt match out GGTS number.
